The Weider hotel is very old and dated. The couch had smoking holes all over it and the bed and pillows could use an upgrade.

Great service!

We had a great time, starting at check in. Our agent upgraded our room after we had some confusion about the pool not being open. The front desk converge spoiled our kids with a little toy basket to choose from, and was patient as they talked to him. We loved the convenient location, including parking just an elevator ride away, underground. We had such a great experience we switched another trip in May from the Westin to the Villages!

Elevators were the worst - broken. And the number to call for assistance didn’t work. Staff were nice/friendly, but for what you pay, I’d expect things to work. Cheaper accommodation would be just as good, if not better.

The stay was great. We were even upgraded to a better suite. However this one night getaway was really sort of a staycation, we were hoping to wake up at 10:00 am and check out at 11. However the room had an alarm clock that went off at 7am and ruined our plan of sleeping in which literally we only wanted to do. Otherwise everything was great.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Grand Georgian and we were really looking forward to spending some time in the hot tub that was advertised as being open all season on the website. However, when we talked to the front desk to ask directions on how to get there she informed us that the hot tubs were not available in the winter and were currently closed. I found out after leaving from family who had recently been there and utilised the hot tub fhat they are in fact open and we were misinformed. We were also shocked to have to pay for parking on site when you pay so much for the rooms. We have never been to a hotel that you have to pay for parking on top of the room price. Highly disappointing.
