I checked in at the hotel around 2 PM, at which time I was informed that my rooms were still being cleaned but would be ready before 4 PM. I had booked two rooms, yet I only received the first room at 4:05 PM and the second one was made available only around 5 PM—well past the standard check-in time.
Furthermore, the room was not properly cleaned, and the essential supplies were not restocked. Items such as trash cans and liners, paper towels, coffee, and condiments were all missing. After contacting the front desk, I was told that the busy season was the reason for the poor preparation of the rooms. While some supplies were eventually brought to our room, this was only after multiple follow-ups on my part.
This entire experience fell short of the service quality and standards I reasonably expected when booking the stay. The delayed check-in, incomplete housekeeping, and lack of readiness significantly reduced our overall experience.
Given these circumstances, I believe it is fair to request a refund or adjustment for the inconvenience, delays, and reduced customer experience we encountered.
