We paid premium money over what other similar houses within proximity for the added features of a heated pool & hot tub. We were attending my daughter’s softball tournament, and thought the added features would be a good way to unwind. The house itself was clean. The pool had so much debris, trash, & liner was clearly damaged, there was no heat to the pool at all. I was skeptical about letting my 3 y/o swim. I turned into a pool boy cleaning out the pool vacuum skimming the pool in an attempt to salvage our stay. The hot tub was in good condition and we were able to take advantage. The kitchen lights wouldn’t work d/t a tripped breaker, which we corrected, only to find smoked outlets in the garage. We also noticed the refrigerator was plugged in with an orange extension cord. Light switches were not coordinated with lights or rooms. No a huge deal, but weird and annoying. We def did not feel comfortable cooking. There was minimal glassware and no trash bags. All in all it was just ok, but served the purpose for our minimum needs. Host did offer to relocate, but we were only there for 2 nights, and spent most of our stay at ball field. I would have been ok with the stay if the price reflected the quality, but I feel like we were taken advantage of.
