Peartree perfection

The Holiday Inn at Peartree has been my choice of hotel for the last 6 years of travelling to Oxford whilst my daughter was at University. This is the perfect location, with super friendly staff, lovely rooms and a great restaurant. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay

Had a great stay, George great customer service on check in, air-conditioning kept us cool, so a good night's sleep, lovely self service buffet breakfast in the morning with pretty much everything you could want for breakfast

Best value hotel in Oxford

From a lovely Indian girl on reception who went out of her way to assist me. Nicest reception staff I’ve experienced in Oxford area and I generally stay in the city centre, Marriot, Malmaison, Premier inn. The hotel overall was much nicer than any of the above. I usually visit about every 6?weejs fir a medical appointment, sometimes 4 weeks. I will be staying 100%

This was a good night's trip. We stayed for just one night as we were passing through. The room was spacious, well serviced and very clean. It was a delight to have decent Aircon while it was so warm outside. The area was quiet.

A fairly pleasant overnight stay

The hotel is very pleasant, modern and bright. The staff were friendly & polite, although checking in was not swift and there were no self check in facilities that were visible. However, the upgrade was fully appreciated. We had a late lunch and the menu choice was good. The eating area was not as tidy as it could have been with tables not cleared and the delivery of food taking a little longer than it might have, there seemed to be a lack of staff in this area. The lady delivering our food admitting that she doesnt normally do this part, but could see our food was sat on the side, whilst looking at another member of staff who was talking to some other guests and who had been for some time, hence the delay. The lift to our floor was very dark, there was clearly a lighting issue with temporay magnetic lights, not giving enough light when the doors were closed. . The room itself was plesant, clean and tidy and modern with complimentary water and light snacks. £6 parking cost with plenty of parking. Checking in and out times very good. Breakfast was a little chaotic, it was very busy, some tables were very close together and getting past seating was like an obstacle course at times. I had to ask a member of staff for the milk churn to be refilled at the cearal stand, which she did obliged to but in total silence and showing no emotion. There was a good choice of breakfast options, like all buffet breakfast, it is hit and miss with temperature. Checking out was very swift!

Great location when visiting in and around Oxford. Sadly had a poor experience initially (given rooms with no air-conditioning in 32 degrees)! After speaking with the manager, Georgi, it was a known issue and we were relocated to different rooms in the newer wing of the building. The initial rooms had a tower fan and the window open so it was obvious that they knew there was a problem and allocated those rooms despite this. The issue was eventually resolved but showed that customers experience was not a priority in room allocation at check in. Pretty sure IHG can do better! Anyway, the remainder of our stay was perfectly fine.

Great location for visiting Oxford & Blenheim Pala

Absolutely perfect for going to Blenheim Palace for a concert... there was a bus stop very close to the hotel...we parked in the hotel (£6 for 24hrs) and headed off. The buses aldo go into Oxford city centre, so perfect location. Good variety for breakfast, and interior tastefully done. Staff very helpfuland polite. Overall an excellent stay.

Great location for our event at Blenheim Palace, and getting into Oxford from the park and ride. Pleasantly surprised with the room size, very quiet and dark for a sleep in. We didn’t use any of the other facilities or eat/drink here so can’t comment. Overall a great and convenient stay
