Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of food available at breakfast and it was freshly prepared. The hotel is in a lovely location by Iffley Lock on the Thames. It offers pleasant walks in the meadows and beside the river into Oxford.

Liam (front desk) was very friendly and staff were attentive. Parking was good with local buses taking us into Oxford. Good food selection including GF options. Only drawback was the size of the room. It did say compact so I should have checked the room size! Not enough room to swing a cat! Rather uncomfortable as I’m 5 10 and so is hubby. Ideal location for Oxford and in a nice rural area! Lovely walk down to the river and buses go every 10 mins.
