Whether you're looking for a cozy place to relax and enjoy watching the falling snow or you need a "jump pad" for your winter or summer adventuring, Why Knot has it all! The fully-equipped kitchen will allow you to cook up an epicurean delight or if you're not in the mood for cooking, enjoy one of the many local restaurants within 5 minutes of the home. Watch the hot air balloons as you sip a cup of coffee on the front porch or take a stroll down the well-maintained neighborhood walking paths in the evening. This spacious well laid out 3/2 has plenty of storage including a large laundry/muck room as you walk in from the large two-car garage which you have access to. Two smart TVs, a Bose sound system, an office desk, and high-speed internet will help you "plug-in" if needed. This pet-friendly home has been meticulously maintained and will feel like home instantly. As Pagosa Springs is a mountain getaway only 45 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski area which boasts the most now in Colorado, come prepared for winter driving conditions. Awesome Home!

Our family of 5 came to ski at Wolf Creek and this home was perfect for all of us. It was really well stocked with anything you could need. I especially loved the fireplace at the end of a day of skiing. The neighborhood was really nice and quiet. And as a bonus my kids especially loved the neighbors' dachshund's. We will definitely be back!

Incredible Stay

Our recent stay in Pagosa was a 10/10. Faye was an incredible host, she’s an excellent communicator and very accommodating. We truly appreciate her allowing our dogs to stay at her beautiful home. The property location is excellent and close to the center of town, restaurants, and more. We enjoyed staying at Faye’s place and will be back in the future.

Wonderful House to Stay While in Pagosa Springs

My family stayed a.week in this lovely home between Christmas and New Year and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was convenient to Pagosa Springs, but was just far enough out to make it nice and peaceful (no traffic noise). The house was clean and spacious. Since we were there for the week, we prepared most of our meals at the house. I loved the gas stove and oven. At night, we watched movies around the gas fireplace and enjoyed the peace and tranquility! My boys like to fish and you are able to obtain a fishing permit from the property owners association to fish the 4 or 5 private lakes in the area. The local residents are super nice as well. While purchasing our fishing permit at the Wyndham rec center (the property owners association bldg), a local gentleman overheard that my 13 year old and I were getting ready to fish. He explained that the lower lakes were good fishing until they freeze over. He invited us that afternoon to ice fish with him and some friends, where we caught an abundance of fish. We are already contemplating a trip this summer!

Christmas in Pagosa

We had a wonderful time staying in Why Knot, the name for this lovely house. Faye responded promptly to every message we sent. There weren’t many because the house is so well equipped, as well as attractive. It stands out right at the top of houses we’ve rented on VRBO!
