⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay – highly recommend From the moment we arrived, check-in was fast and friendly, setting the tone for a great stay. The rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, including a fridge and plenty of spare towels. The bathroom was immaculate, and the air conditioning was amazing — a real highlight. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. The pool area was well maintained, with pool towels readily available, which made things easy. Check-out was just as efficient and hassle-free as check-in. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to shops, and there were lots of brochures available for local activities. Most of all, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Would happily stay again.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and well equipped. Was on the 2nd floor. No elevator so had to schlep heavy luggage up stairs and past several other hotel rooms. Not enough parking. Had to twice park in lower dirt lot and schlep said heavy luggage a long distance across parking lot, while stalls near room were taken by a boat??? and a motorcycle. Name of the hotel is a misnomer. There are no views of the beautiful Bay of Islands.

The hotel itself was very nice. Lots of trees and parking spots. 10-15 min walk to the warf is very convinient. The room was big and had a very nice back patio. Uunfortunately the room had a very bad urine odor. We had to keep windows open or run ac unit non stop to vent the room. Since we only slept there for two nights it was fine but if you plan to stay longer or spend time in the room be aware of the smell. We appriciated ability for midnight check- in since our flight was delayed.
