Checkin was friendly and efficient. However a problem reported at checkin about a gurgling aircon is causing me a sleepless night. It has been checked twice by staff and seemed quiet at that time but the problem has returned.

I must commend Manager John and Night Manager Emma for their help in resolving our problem with a double booking. They both went out of their way, John in particular, in helping us to get a refund on one of our bookings. The double booking was my mistake.

It was a lovely clean room. Get what you pay for and good value for money. In all the hundreds of hotels I’ve stayed in across the world I’ve never known them not to tell you the breakfast times upon check in or not include it on the check in fact sheet. Bizarre. Especially as it’s an unusual time. We missed breakfast which finishes an hour and a half before check out. If this was addressed it would be a better experience.

After staying at this hotel, my son developed scabies, and we have been struggling with it for nearly two months. Both of my children have suffered severe skin irritation. Several doctors misdiagnosed it at first, and only recently we discovered it was scabies. It is now clear that the infection began right after our stay. This experience has caused us a lot of stress and discomfort, and I strongly urge the hotel to take hygiene and cleanliness much more seriously.
