Spacious and elegant apartment with private courtyard inside Palazzo Torremuzza, in the Kalsa district.



The apartment, located on the ground floor of a historic palace in Palermo, features a charming inner courtyard furnished with armchairs and umbrellas for relaxing in. The courtyard leads to the interior of the house, which spreads over two levels. On the ground floor the living area boasts an open space furnished with sofas, a fully-equipped open kitchen and a dining table, and part of the sleeping area, two bedrooms with a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Some stairs lead to the second floor, which accommodates two additional bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a queen-size bed. A bathroom with shower, a small terrace and a laundry room complete the layout.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers the wonder of UNESCO heritage sites that can be visited in the city's four historic quarters. Tourists can take part in the 'Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the city's main monuments, such as the Church of the Santissimo Salvatore, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to take part in the 'Tour of Palermo's Historic Markets' that will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo, where lunch or a snack, at the Palermo market, dishes must be 'strictly' tasted with just the help of the hands! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire important buildings, streets and squares.



Palermo's central station is 1 km from the accommodation, while Palermo Falcone e Borsellino airport can be reached in 40 minutes drive.

We had more than enough room at this beautiful apartment. The dining table big enough to hold a conference. The kitchen was not well supplied but we were eating out all the time anyway. Free parking was close on the main street. An enjoyable stay.

Nice renovated apartment in historical building

Apartment was tastefully renovated & checked in was great with a young man walked us through details of the place. Unfortunately Easter weekend was next day & although the front panel of the dishwasher fell out, toilet seat loose & shaky & light bulbs went out in one of the bathrooms ( we had to use a bedside lamp for light), guess workers were on holiday. The "private courtyard" is in the middle of the apartment complex and if one sits there, everybody in the surrounding apartments can see & hear everything one said. Kitchen had dishes & pots & pans, but not even salt & pepper.And don't eat in the restaurant across the street although the BBQ grill in front was enticing - their mussels smelled & shrimps mushy. When I mentioned to the owner, he shrugged his shoulders & went away. All in all, the interior of the apartment was very nice & comfortable & we enjoyed our stay there.

Sprawling and spacious!

Although very minimalist it still fits the bill! Lots of beds with quality bedding, several bathrooms, and plenty of communal space. Location is great--local stores nearby, beautiful park just steps away, easy walk to fun restaurants! Would definitely book again!

Perfect weekend!

The property is well located and exceeded expectations! So much space for everyone and very comfortable. My only advice would be to do a lock box to make checking in and out more flexible. :) but I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Everything we needed!

This was the perfect property for my family trip to Palermo. Was traveling with my husband, three kids (ages 5, 3, and 8 months), brother-in-law, and in-laws. Area was very easily accessible to the harbor and water area, and not too far walking from the rest of the city (we did not have a car and walked with luggage from the train station). Apartment was very comfortable for all of us, and the communal space was great! Door man was very helpful and apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed! Wonderful Italy also helped us book a great boat tour and family walking tour, and their offices are located on the same block as this apt. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We loved it. The apartment was spacious and beautiful. It was close to everything and we were able to walk everywhere. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure there was a garbage can in the kitchen and some essentials in the fridge, water, etc. Othereise it was great! Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour d'une semaine à Palerme. La ville et les environs permettent des découvertes et des activités très variées. Le logement est très bien placé pour visiter tout le centre ville ancien, en étant proche des commerces, restaurants, et d'un stationnement hors ZTL.
