*Guests are required to pay a fee for parking passes and wristbands at Tidewater.  Pay $48 plus tax when you pre-register at least 24 hours before your stay.  You may pay your fee upon arrival; however, the fee will be $58 plus tax.  Save $10 on your parking fee by pre-registering early at https://www.tidewaterhoa.com/registration/guest-registration/

Other things to note
Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their government issued IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

Parking:
All guests must pre-register with the resort! Sooner is better since there are additional fees (and long lines) associated with registering late. Preregistering means wristbands are programmed, and parking passes are created ahead of your arrival. Guests must stop by the Tidewater registration desk upon arrival to pick up wristbands and parking pass. You’ll find this registration desk just inside the walkway doors, on the second floor.

Parking: The parking garage is located across the street from Tidewater Resort. Guests may purchase two parking permits for a 2-bedroom unit

Parking restrictions: No vehicle exceeding 7 feet, 2 inches in height is allowed in the garage. For the safety of all, pickups with extended beds or cabs, dual wheels, tow bars, and extended rear luggage carriers are only permitted to park in the north side, rear end of the garage. Roof luggage carriers must be removed before entering the garage. Rental golf carts, scooters, and bubble cars are not authorized to park in the garage or porte-cochere. Those in violation of these rules are subject to tow at the owner’s/renter’s expense.

Amenity Wristbands: Guests registering at Tidewater must be over 25 years old and registration should occur at least 24 hours in advance of arrival (ideally, more than 24 hours prior). Amenity wristbands are allocated to guests at the Tidewater registration desk, located on the 2nd floor of the resort. Wristbands will be given to guests ages 12 and up at check-in. Guests are required to wear these wristbands while on the property.
Wristband Return Reminder: At check-out, please return all wristbands to the same reservation desk where you picked them up. You’ll find the return box at the reservation desk on the 2nd floor of the resort.

Other details to note:

For the safety and security of our guests and property, please note that there is a doorbell camera located at the entry door. This camera is focused solely on the entry area to monitor arrivals and ensure the security of the property. Please be assured that your privacy is important to us, and the camera does not monitor any other areas of the accommodation.

The owners of this unit provide portable beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit for guest use. If you prefer the onsite beach service setup, those rentals are available through a third-party vendor and are not included.

Please keep the balcony door closed tightly. Avoid opening it simultaneously with the main door, as it creates a strong suction that could cause injury.

Proper ID wristbands are required to be worn at all times while on Tidewater Resort property. There is a replacement fee for each lost or stolen wristband.

Non-negotiable rules: No Smoking or Vaping, No Events or Parties, No Firearms. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am (unless posted signage indicates otherwise).

We had 3 beautiful days and nights in this clean, roomy, bright and welcoming unit and boy did we leave wishing for more time. Check in was a breeze. The view of the gorgeous Gulf was a treat to wake up to. My husband and I enjoyed our coffee on the balcony watching the occasional dolphin sighting and morning beach walkers. Our days were filled with shopping in the Panama City Beach and Destin areas, eating as much seafood as our bellies could hold, playing at the beach and relaxing during our downtime on the balcony. The evenings were spent walking Pier Park and swinging clubs at Top Golf. We slept great on the comfy bed after our very full days and evenings of fun and had extra pillows if we needed them. The felt hangers in the closet were a nice little touch (us girlies appreciate hanging our clothes on vacation) We didn’t cook a thing while we were there but if we needed to there was plenty of cookware to get the job done. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas we could use conveniently in the unit so we didn’t even have to bring ours from the car. The furniture and decor of the whole place is perfect for the beach. I enjoyed the double headed shower many times in the primary bathroom. The bright, white and fluffy towels have made me want to upgrade mine at home. The space I had to put my personal items under the bathroom sink was so nice too. So much thought and effort was put into setting this unit up. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Andy and Jamie!!!!

I can’t say enough about our stay in 1608. From communication with the host to cleanliness of the condo to the gorgeous, beachy decor. Little details mean a lot. Chairs for the beach, beach toys for the littles. Nightlights throughout. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfy beds. Very nice condo. Looking forward to our next stay and will definitely try to reserve this condo. Highly recommend.
