Tiny room, wonderful bed, great shower/bathroom facility. Worth a one night. Staff friendly and great! Would highly recommend and we are 82 years old.

The air conditioner was broken down couple of time in the night. We hope to get to bed earlier for tomorrow’s activities, but we had to stay awake for the technician to come which took almost an hour at 8pm. And the air conditioner kept shutting down couple of time in the middle of the night, which made us awake a couple of times in the mid night!

This was our third stay at the Kon Tiki Hotel, but unfortunately it was the least satisfying. The room we were given this time was very small and felt quite cramped, with barely enough space to place our luggage. On top of that, despite the fact that we were returning guests and stayed for several nights in total, the hotel still charged us an additional fee for storing our luggage while we were away. This was disappointing and felt unreasonable, especially considering our repeated stays.

Overall, our stay at the Kon Tiki Hotel was pleasant — the location is excellent, right across from the ferry terminal, and the facilities are modern and comfortable. However, as returning guests, we were quite disappointed to be charged an additional fee for storing our luggage during our trip to other islands, even though we were coming back to stay at the hotel again. This policy feels very unreasonable and is something we have never experienced at other hotels. It’s a point the hotel should really reconsider, especially for repeat guests.

TINY room! We had to leave 2 of our bags in the shared hallway. The bunk bed had a straight metal ladder that was not easy to climb. Thin walls! I could hear everything in the hallways. I compare it to a jail cell (that I've only seen on TV of course). The shared bathrooms/shower were HOT with no fans. The wash basin area had no place to put a toiletry bag even.

Great stop for people needing a one night stay near the ferry terminal to Moorea. I think the room layout/loft bed may be a bit annoying for a prolonged stay. Very clean and kind staff! Exactly what we needed

Perfectly adequate room for one night before an early exit to the airport. Staff were happy to look afer our bags until check-in time and arranged our taxi to the airport. Shared areas were clean and well appointed. We had a lovely dinner at the Surf House on the 7th floor with lovely views.

Quick and easy checkin. Clean facilities. Great location across from the ferry terminal + walking distance to Papeete market. Gentleman at the front desk was amazingly helpful with recommendations on places to visit and drive to around the island.
