My stay at the Dream Castle Hotel, which claims to be a 4-star establishment, was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. The service and staff conduct were appalling and do not reflect a rating higher than a 3-star hotel. This review is based on an incident that occurred on August 24th.
Upon entering our room, we found that while the beds had been made, the carpet had not been cleaned. This was a significant oversight and a basic expectation for any hotel, let alone one of this supposed caliber. I called the reception at 22:24 to report the issue and request that someone come to clean the room. The receptionist was immediately unhelpful, arguing that the housekeeping staff had gone home at 11 am and there was "nothing we can do."
This argumentative and dismissive attitude was unacceptable. I called back and asked for the lady’s name, only to be told that they were not allowed to give out names. I was then given the name "Aurelian" for the manager, which offered little assistance in the moment. Eventually, I was told someone would come to the room. When the staff member arrived, they brought only towels to place over the dirty carpet, stating that it was "not their job" to clean it. This response was not only unprofessional but also a complete failure to address the problem.
