The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There are very good restaurants nearby and is very close to Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle and Luxembourg Gardens. If I ever get back to Paris, I will stay there again.

Clean and nice

The staff was kind and courteous. The room was even nicer than in the pictures and it was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. It was a great place to spend the weekend in Paris. Would stay here again.

Great central hotel

Very nice older hotel in a great location in the heart of Paris. They offer a huge breakfast ( for a fee) and have comfortable rooms and fine service.

When I booked this hotel the pictures had the look of a quaint boutique hotel. When we arrived, it was as if it was a bait and switch. I never book a hotel under 9.0 and this turned out to be an 8.4 when we looked it up after arriving. The room was tiny and the breakfast buffet was minimal with only eight tables.there was a line of folks waiting to be seated in the tiny room when we finished. The lobby literally had 3-4 seats and a vending machine. The hotel was a bit down a somewhat sketchy alley. I did not pick a winner this time.

Great Location.

Location was very convenient to all the sites and in a great neighborhood. Hotel was clean and renovated. But service was mediocre and hotel had no charm or character. Skip the hotel breakfast. Overpriced in a small room with no ambiance. Much better options nearby.

The hotel is ok, decently priced. Beds are not very comfortable, staff merely do the very basic elements of their job, without particular care or attentiveness. Rooms and bathrooms are reasonably clean.

Lovely little hotel in a great location! Less than five minutes to metro and Notre Dame, but far enough back that there are tons of local restaurants/cafes nearby (Highly recommend Pepita for dinner and Maison D’Isabelle for life changing croissants). Staff were all very friendly, and the rooms were spotless. Had breakfast one day and it was okay, very basic. Would stay here again for sure!

We had a great experience at Hotel Central Saint Germain. Room was clean and adequate for our needs. The staff were lovely. The hotel is tucked in a small side street so quiet but still close to the metro and Notre Dame. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Not much shopping, only tourist souvenirs spots. Go to the pharmacy on the corner!

A little cramped

We are a family of 4. The main bed is two twin beds pushed together. Then they gave us a 3rd twin bed and the 4th bed is an uncomfortable folding bed. This made the room super cramped and no space left to move around. There was one chair to sit on and barely enough room to pull it out from the table. The hot water kettle had a leftover dried ramen in it and smelled like vinegar so it was unusable. We had a travel kettle with us so did not bother to ask for it to be changed. I did let housekeeping know it needed to be cleaned. Everything was clean and the actual beds were comfortable, except for the folding bed.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Central Saint Germain, close to transport options, shopping and many restaurants. The staff were professional and the breakfast set us up well for the busy tourist day ahead. The only addition that would have been nice to have would be a small refrigerator in the room otherwise perfect for our stay in Paris.
