The staff is friendly, speaks English, and is helpful. Rosalie, the cat, is an excellent addition. She greets guests and accepts some gentle love. The room is small, but comfortable. At night it can get a little warm, but the window opens. The mattress is firm, but not lumpy. The hotel is in a quiet street surrounded by many good restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and the metro. You can walk anywhere within a few minutes and reach the entire town via metro or bus. The bathroom includes a bathtub which is superb after a long day of sightseeing. The towels are thick and clean. The hotel provides soap and body lotion as well as a blow dryer. You should bring some shampoo. We never ran out of hot water which is a plus.

Lovely part of Paris to stay in, and most of the staff (not all) were very friendly and forgiving that we didn't speak much french. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, brilliant eco credentials, good bath. Room 805 has a separate sort-of living room leading to a lovely balcony with table (excellent). The sort of living room is a bit naff - it's small, with an uncomfortable bench sofa thing. Think it's technically a fold out other bed or something. Problem is that the balcony has a door to the living room that doesn't lock. Which was both a security risk, and a bit cold. We told the staff, but they didn't repair it while we were there. Additionally the room wasn't cleaned or serviced on our first full day out - we'd asked to not have it done while we were still getting ready to head out (about 9.30am i think) and then said as we left 'the room can be serviced now if that's okay' - but it wasn't. Not a really big deal in the scheme of things.

A Charming Hotel

The garden areas were charming: a courtyard at the hotel's front door, an inner courtyard full of peaceful greenery and seating, and a third, "secret" garden (accessible only to hotel guests) on the third floor. Also charming was Rosalie, the hotel's cat, who "owns" the place. She was especially sure to make an appearance at breakfast time. (Breakfast was excellent, by the way.) Adding to the charm was the decor, which made use of the works of Parisian art students. Add to this the clean rooms and cheerful staff.

The property is so wonderful that it actually go beyond my expectations especially when I realize there is a cloths drying machine right inside bathroom. All facilities are comfortable and staff are very nice. It’s quite surprising that this hotel maintains a quite environment in a very busy transport hub!

Well located by Place d’Italie metro station, which is on direct line to gare de l’Est and gare du nord. Superior room was good size but bathroom very small. Slept well as rooms soundproofed. Breakfast delicious with good range of items. Weather not too good so did not make use of the garden or free yoga session. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Fantastic location. 1 minute to 3 major subway lines encircling round about. Rooms modern and clean. Lots of restaurants and a farmers market across the street some days. If you use Hotel secure parking you need a small car to fit through entrance door. Also larger private secure parking behind Hotel which Hotel has access too. Hotel is set back off street through a gate. Cannot see using Google street view. One day rooms were not cleaned. Mentioned and Hotel took care of. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is in a great location. If you are physically challenged, it is difficult stepping in and out of the bathtub to have a shower. Having arrived from a long overseas flight, we were disappointed with our room not being ready at the 3 pm check in time.

Great location! Walkable or metro is super easy from here. Rooms are small but practical. Some share areas could do with tidying up (secret garden, main toilets and reception furniture needs a good clean). Staff are lovely but don't always follow through with what they say they will do. Room was clean. Small things like having the blankets folded nicely on the beds when rooms are serviced would make it nicer to return back to at the end of the day.
