Over communicative host

First, the stay is smaller than the pictures make it seem. When we arrived at the airport the host was upset that we were checking in “so late” and called me to complain which I believe was unprofessional. During our stay, he called me multiple times and knocked on our door unannounced which was disruptive to our trip. All in all, the host was too communicative and felt like he was with us on the trip. The stay itself was in a safe, nice area and clean.

Good location but was a bit overpriced

The location was very convenient, walking distance to many places. However the apartment could use a little TLC. It is also located to the main entrance of the building so can be noisy at times.

A small space in a great neighborhood

The reception was OK although the host seemed in a hurry. The appartement needs a bit of caring. The location is really great ( lots of stores and restaurants) and we appreciated the tranquility of the place.

Perfect pied a terre

Our stay in Philippe’s apartment was perfect. He is a most gracious host: meeting us when we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us tips and suggestions for the neighborhood. We hadn’t stayed in this part of Paris before but it has quickly become our favourite area. We will definitely be back!
