Perfect location, staff friendly and had a lovely stay. Breakfast - food great, but narrow entrance and queue horrendous. 40 mins for a seat is not great when you have children with you.

We had booked the hotel for a family with a 7 year old child and were expecting a spare bed made-up but all we got was a large bed with a sofa that could have possibly been made into a bed but no bedding. The breakfast queues were extremely long and the wait to get fresh eggs was even longer. The location of the property is great as you are about a 20 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. There are tons of shops and restaurants in close vicinity.

The staff are lovely and helpful, buffet is overpriced but the food and drink in the bar are excellent. The shower leaked in both rooms we booked, there are insufficient plug sockets in the rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location and while the public rooms look smart and welcoming, the rooms seem shabby, with ill-fitting doors and tired decor.

Really good. A few minor niggles

Nice hotel. Great location. Fantastic view over the Seine. The room was a little tired though. However not tired enough to be off putting. Breakfast was good, but we had to queue a few times, just to get in.

The view from our rooms was just beautiful!!! This is a 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and you can see from the rooms depending on the side of the property your room is located. Just accross the Eiffel Tower is the departure point for the seine river cruise. The evening/ night ride is the best. We had the day view of the city at departure and upon return it was night!

Disappointing Stay Despite Prime Location

The hotel’s proximity to the tower and the friendliness of the staff were the only redeeming features of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short of expectations. The property itself is noticeably dated and in need of renovation. Breakfast was chaotic—poorly organised and almost comical in its execution. The quality and selection were disappointing (3/10), with miniature hotdog-style sausages and bacon floating in oily water. If you do attempt breakfast, go early; the staff struggled to keep up with replenishments. Our room was booked as a family room with two singles and a double, but we were given a double bed and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable—especially for our teenage son and daughter. Reception informed us there were no alternatives, and the only option offered was a second room at an additional €187. We had no choice but to make do. A word of caution regarding the shop on level 2: it’s not operated by Novotel. It pre-authorises €50 to unlock the fridge and supposedly tracks what you take. However, even briefly touching an item adds it to your basket, and there’s no way to remove it. When I approached reception for a refund, I was redirected to the restaurant, where I was simply handed an email address. To avoid further hassle, I accepted the unwanted items.

The hotel staff was great but the beds and pillows were not. The kids bed has springs that were shown and no cushion at all. Practically i slept on the a spring sofa that i could only feel the springs because i couldn't let the little ones sleep there

The staff was very welcoming and the hotel clean and convenient to the things we wanted to do on our visit. There were some nice amenities like cold water taps in the reception area which was great for refilling water bottles before you head out for siteseeing. Lots of staff around to answer questions. Was exactly what we needed for our visit!

Is My 2nd time at NOVETEL Paris-- Everything was is Perfect!! Except this 1 lady(MARILANA) Don't know if I spelled her name right) at the Bar which I had an issue back in Jan 2025 --and I let it slide This time she always had an Attitude when I ask for ice and ask for a Glass the first Night--she had an attitude like I was bothering her.. 2nd day--I ask for the time the bar closes I guess she didn't understand-and give me attitude--And stated that French needs to be spoken--I stated to her thats a Tourist area that she must speak English!! And walked away. The next day I ask Diane for ice and a glass-- and she gave it with no issues or attitude. She(Marliana) shouldn't be working with the public--SHE NEEDS TO GO LEARN ENGLISH!! Other then that I would recommend hotel.And will stay at NOVETEL Again! PROS -shopping area around the corner -SEINA RIVER right across -EFFIEL TOWER 10mins away. -SUPPLIES WATER AND SPARKLING AT THE LOBBY -HAVE A INFORMATION DESK--LADIES WERE SO HELPFUL!! CONS -POOL- should have ADULT TIME-- too mnay kids by the pool. -NO ICE MACHINES ON THE FLOORS-- had to keep asking for ice by the bar
