Great Location

This hostel is in a great location—close to Le Marais, Notre-Dame, and the heart of Paris, making it easy to explore the city. I stayed in a 4-bed ensuite room that was very clean and comfortable. The bed had a privacy curtain which was a great touch. However, the ensuite bathroom could use a few improvements—there was no bath mat, which made the floor quite wet, and there were no hooks or places to hang your things. The room didn’t have proper lockers for luggage or larger backpacks, just a small lockable box/cube for personal items. Towel rentals are €4, and luggage storage is available for a fee, charged by the hour. The common areas were clean, with small hangout spots on different levels and a shared kitchen. Would recommend!

Comfortable hostel in good location

Great location. Bunk beds had privacy curtain, light, socket, shelf and cupboard. Lockable locker for small luggage. Reception staff friendly and helpful. When i stayed it was very noisy with school groups.

Quiet and comfortable mixed dorms in a big modern block, refurbished. Good value for French breakfast. Right in the middle of Paris, close to Saint-Germaine, Quartiers Latins and walkable to major museums, as well as Notre Dame.

I had a four-bedroom dorm at The People. The staff was super friendly and helpful at check in. The hostel is in a great location in Paris...extremely walkable and close to a lot of sights. The shared spaces were generally clean and in good condition. The bedroom/bathroom itself was the main issue. It seems the bathrooms don't get cleaned if one of the four people has already checked in, so there was hair all over the shower floor and we ran out of the toilet paper the one night I was there. The other big issue is the lack of control over the temperature. I understand not having AC for eco reasons, but I was there at the end of March and the room was so hot overnight I woke up sweating multiple times. The room was facing the street, so leaving the window open overnight wasn't an option. There needs to be a way to cool the room...what happens to the people who visit in the summer?

It's a really nice, clean and modern hostel. The beds are comfortable and the curtain gives you a feeling of your own private little nook with your own shelf, light, mirror, plug, and a lockable safety box, big enough to fit a laptop in. There's a bar on location with various events (karaoke, DJ night, etc) throughout the week for your entertainment. The 5 sec.-at-a-time showers, though initially annoying, are an important environmental initiative that I appreciate. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place.

Convenient to M7 Sully stop on metro. Clean and updated property. Big facility. Locker in basement to stash luggage at odd times. In a quiet pocket next to popular Marais area. Adjacent to river east of Notre Dame. Stayed in 4x women's room with a bathroom. Clean and convenient with a locker for each person in the room. Bring a lock or buy one for 5 euro. No hooks and such in bathroom makes getting ready challenging. Kitchen available was reasonably clean, but ofc people are using it all day so it's not as pristine all the time as the room. Breakfast was typical limited French breakfast fare, but reasonable items and price in a beautiful space. I found the room and my bunk a bit too warm. It is pet friendly. A good grassy corner park across the street to let your dog out.
