Nice room. friendly staff. was surprised at not being able to get any ice, and as it was cold the 1st day there was no heat available in the room a they turn all heat off on May 1st. When I stated I didn't think I could stay in room with no heat the did bring up a portable heater, which we really appreciated. Staff also very helpful with giving us directions and recommending places to eat. etc.

The room was on the smaller size, but it was perfect for my husband and I. We used the room to sleep, we were too busy exploring Paris. The employees were simple amazing. They were helpful, kind and made us feel like we were welcome. The area is safe and close (walking) to a lot of the larger attractions of Paris. We would definitely stay here again, next time we are in Paris.

Absolutely adored my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and the check in process was easy. As a solo traveler, the room was a perfect size/clean and the hotel was situated walking distance to pretty much anything I needed. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel that places you in the middle of Paris.

The location is as good as it gets. The front desk staff iare ncredible, but I would not trust the cleaning staff. as in any hotel use the safe for keeping your valuables safe including chargers!! One of the cleaning staff took mine, but returned it to me after they were done using it. There are no washcloths in the bathrooms. Which I found a little odd

Unfortunately, Timhotel Palais Royal fell far short of expectations. The room was not as advertised: it was small, dusty, and a bit dirty, with nasty carpeting that felt unkempt. The pillows were so thin they barely deserved the name, offering no comfort whatsoever. The so-called "view" was nothing more than an internal hallway with no natural light, making the room feel dark and claustrophobic. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Bathrooms are always small in Europe but this was really small and dark. Shower didn't drain well and sliding door to bathroom made a horrible noise. A lot of noise from other rooms compared to our other stays in Europe. Staff was very polite and friendly.

The hotel was conveniently placed for going to the Louvre ( book before you go and queue) we had a nice clean room. The bath didn’t drain so easily our only issue. The room was tended to daily. It was noisy outside in the morning, nothing anyone could do about that but if it’s an issue for you beware.

Do not stay in room 001

Warm reception with a very helpful receptionist. Unfortunately, we were put on the ground floor (room 001). We were offered a twin room instead of a double, but we didn't mind either way. If it was explained we were on the ground floor I definitely would have agreed to be put in a twin room. I did not and could not sleep. There was work going on and moving things around all night. There was no consideration for us in the room. When breakfast was being served from 6am that was all I could hear too. I found this really sad as I was so excited for this hotel. Absolutely beautiful area and the website showed lovely rooms. We just didn't get to experience it. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. It was a special access room so the bathroom was really big.

So to begin with this property is an AMAZING location central to everything. The staff was wonderful, and the neighborhood was incredible, so historic and lovely. Next door there is a FABULOUS little French restaurant called the Bouganville, we LOVED it and the staff. There is a BEAUTIFUL passage next door as well, we LOVED. Now let me tell you the negatives, when people wrote the showser is small, they weren't lying! It is TINY!!! and DANGEROUS! it is like a foot off the floor and I swear it was awful to get out everyday. We traveled with my 91 year old dad and it was a nightmare for 5 days! The room is super small which wasn't a problem it was the shower. The hotel is VERY clean and very cute but the shower KILLS it. To make matters worse they charged us for breakfast everyday which was ok since we ate everyday (it was good) EXCEPT one day I did't eat AND the day we checked out at 6am (breakfast starts at 7am)..... I unfortunately didn't check my bill (half asleep) to see they had overcharged me 40E. I emailed them later that day and I still haven't heard back. (totally unprofessional). This hotel has amazing qualities but the bathroom and the lack of responding to my email for my 40E, has me super disappointed. Would not stay again and would NOT recommend.
