After communicating by whatsapp with someone from Sumberkima Hills Retreat, we knew which villa would be appropriate for us to book. We are in our 70s and have some mobility issues. The villa was easy to access for us and to go to the pools, as well as the restaurants, we could book a shuttle, so we would not have to walk up and down the hills. The problem was that once you were driven there, you were required to walk down, or up many steps. This is just to make people with mobility issues aware of access!!
The whole property is truly beautiful and there are amazing views from everywhere you look. From our villa (Asmara 3), we could see the hills and volcanoes in Java, as well as the ocean. At night we witnessed the sunset, and in the morning the sunrise. Taking a taxi down the hills is expensive, so we did not leave the retreat during our 3 night stay.
