4 of us coming from cruise in Galveston. I-10 closed and heavily delayed our arrival. My name on Expedia, but used wife’s name & card to book. she came in with me to check in with ID and same card. We were not allowed to use same card because her name was not used in Expedia account. Tried Apple Pay with touch to pay device in front of me but was told I couldn’t. Did not argue - neither time or place, understand man was ‘quoting policy’ but it was the same person, card and ID used to purchase.
This aside, floors were dirty (sticky/spill residue multiple areas) We used Lysol wipes ourselves. late checkin and no sense going to front desk to address as it would not get addressed at midnight. Laminate floor buckling and water damage throughout loft. Ceiling fans had built up dirt (did not use). Both showers had hair on walls. Sheets and bedding good, but rest of unit rushed cleaned (still decorations on walls & debris from prev guests). Stains on sofa and curtains. Did not use kitchen. Cigarette burns throughout show unit was smoked in
once and done for us. novelty of the loft/kitchenette not worth the $. Went by the reviews and rating hoping it would be better. Not looking for anything from hotel, just an honest review. -Mike M. / Orlando
