The most beat-up hotel ever! Furniture scratched, door jambs coming off, bathroom heater not working, main heater/air conditioner rattling and unable to shut off, slapdash solutions for fixing problems, stains on upholstery and carpets—they say they’re planning renovations, but it seems a crime to charge full price for rooms in that shape!

Enjoyed our stay at the doubletree. Airport shuttle was easy to locate on arrival and the driver was wonderful on the way back to the airport. The front desk staff was fantastic and we were grateful for an early check in. The little cafe shop made fantastic lattes and offer juices for the younger crowds. Only thing that would have been better is if there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room for leftovers that ended up having to go to waste. Other than that if we visit Philly again I would definitely stay here again.

The check-in process was great. I was disappointed in the quality of the room. The carpet was torn in some places, and the furniture seemed very old with a musty smell. The temperature control was either too cold or too hot. It would have been nice to have a blanket or comforter for the bed. The oatmeal cookies were warm and tasty!

The Staff was very accommodating. My issue was with the HVAC system, Bathtub and bathroom. 1) HVAC - the room was cold in spite of the temperature being set at 74 degrees and the unit sounded as if it would blow up any moment 2) the water in the tub did not drain efficiently. Water remained in the tub throughout my shower 3) Several tiles in the bathroom need to be replaced. It appeared as if there may have been a leak at some point and it left stains in a few tiles and they appear that they may have mold because there is a black area where the stain is.

Nice hotel and conveniently located to sport complex’s. Staff very friendly and hotel very clean. Front desk needed more help during check in, large group checking in and only one receptionist. After long line formed someone came to help. Otherwise great stay!
