Disliked: Cleanliness

Couldn't Get In the Door

After opening the locked entry, we met a young man in the hall who told us the unit we had rented was not cleaned and ready for us. I assumed he was the former guest because only guests would have access to the building. We left and stayed with relatives. I texted the host, who answered six hours later that the apartment had been cleaned and was empty. I have heard nothing further from the host. VRBO has not responded to my complaint except to give it a number and say it was handled. It hasn't been handled. I asked for my money back, and have heard nothing.
