I wish the lazy river had the water falls flowing to get you wet and keep you cool. That is my only issue with this trip. We have been coming for years and this time no water flowing on top over you as you stroll along the lazy river in your rafts.

The water park is the reason we stayed there, and it was not bad. Not as big as the picture, but good enough for the family get away. The room do need some updates, it has the old building smell when we open the door, and our shower was not draining properly.

Our first time at the Arizona Grand was great! We were able to check in early and the staff were friendly. Our first room had a weird odor so we called in and they kindly resolved it quickly. A nice staff member brought us new keys to our newly assigned room. We loved using the Oasis water park. Outside of the water park, our building also had two pools and a spa. At night, there were awesome fireworks. We had a sofa bed in our room but we didn’t like that it didn’t have a comforter to go with it. The room was large enough for us. The furniture is a little dated but well kept. Finally check out was easy and there was plenty of food and shopping just a quick drive away. We would definitely stay there again but definitely ask for an extra comforter at check in.

We love the Arizona Grand but there were fire works all night on the Friday April 18 that kept us up all night. Not sure what was going on in the area around the resort but the fireworks were non stop from 10 pm to 4 am.

Fireworks from midnight to 3a in the surrounding neighborhood kept our family and many others awake all night. The hotel claims they have no control of the situation so I’d think twice before staying here if you want a good night sleep.

The resort fee only includes 4 bracelets. It’s $50 for an additional bracelet even though my room reservation was for 5 people! Nowhere is this listed anywhere.

I really was annoyed with the air conditioning in the hotel room. We couldn’t drop up below 60 and when your sunburned we need at least a little control. The housekeeping came so late in the day. It was hard to have a fresh night. The TV was terrible. No choices. And the movies were $25 apiece almost. The food was disgusting at all the restaurants. And we had to pay for it. Literally, it was way too expensive for the food and I really wouldn’t go back.

Our kids didn’t enjoy the water park but lots of kids do. The hotel is very comfortable. We balked at the prices. $67 for two burgers and two fries at the water park concession stand. That sort of sent us packing. In and out is right next door.

Great hotel for kids. The Waterpark is great and the rooms were clean. However, the mattresses were not comfortable and the staff could have been friendlier. The $80 resort fee per day makes the stay more expensive so beware. The lobby restaurant has great food. The spa and the gym was great but the jacuzzi in there does not work. Overall a great stay with 4 stars.
