The house and the location were great, but the pictures from the online listing did not match the property, and there was some leftover trash from prior occupants. I understand that this residence is not a hotel and there are some amenities that are out of scope, but when there is a cleaning fee that each occupant pays I would assume that the home that is being rented is clean and free of animal feces in the yard, food in and on the furniture, and furniture is cleaned. Some of the things that stood out when my family and I first walked the property were:
* Dried food on the carpet
* Broken ground lights in the backyard
* Dog poop in the yard
* The house smelled like slight marijuana
* Crack inside the refrigerator on the bottom
* Master bedroom deadbolt lock did not work. The lock knob just spun without engaging the lock
* Pool cushions needed a deep cleaning or replacing. You could see oil marks from tanning oil on them
* Furniture needs some touch up paint
* Camera on the patio that was not disclosed
* The listing pictures show a retractable awning that covers a portion of the pool and patio, but no awning was present.
