Built into the hill, the resort has some steep streets but they have a great golf cart and shuttle service. The employees are friendly and helpful. Our room was a 1 bedroom suite. It was spacious and large. There’s a balcony that did have the view of the mountain. We went to the upscale restaurant at the top of the resort Different Point of View. It was phenomenal. Great value for the money even if the resort is a little older than some. It makes up for it in charm.

Oasis in Phoenix

What a beautiful place. I had no idea this was such a large facility. Once you find a parking space (tight squeeze), you don't have to move again--just call and they send a car or golf cart to get you. Food was delicious, room very nice, spacious. Everyone was friendly. Highly recommend for a stay more than one night. We were there just as a stopover for Phoenix airport--wish we had more time there.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly! My family enjoyed the pool and cabana area so much! Gramma enjoyed the cocktails and the kids loved the slide. Breakfast was good too! No complaints here. I will definitely stay there again.

Rooms are noisy. They now charge $3 gratuity for every drink order at the bar. $20 for a drink is a bit much.

The overall facility is aged. Lost hot water for almost entire day, dusts everywhere, terrible housekeeping. Air condition only works half of the time. Shower towels were dirty like motel standards. Would not recommend.
