was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property, as the conditions were completely unacceptable and far below the standards advertised. Even after being placed in what was described as the “best room,” the space was dirty and had a serious bug issue. I encountered a spider, a dead roach, and constant mosquitoes, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe enough to sleep. I even switched to a pool view room hoping for a better experience, but the pool itself was in terrible condition — filled with bugs and appearing as though it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. This clearly showed that the property is not being maintained to reasonable standards. The overall atmosphere felt more like a neglected motel than a hotel. The conditions were so unbearable that I checked out early and chose not to request a refund, simply because I could not remain there any longer. I cannot recommend this property, and I strongly urge future travelers to be aware of the issues before booking.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and I was able to check in slightly earlier than the standard 3pm time. The room was on the second floor, which was accessible by a small staircase or the lift (which was further down the hall). The room was incredibly spacious with a balcony, table and two chairs. It also had a small clothes line attached to the outside wall, which was handy for drying clothes. The bathroom, while tired and needing a bit of an upgrade, was large with a huge, deep bath and double-sized shower. Towels were replaced daily. The room had two comfortable beds and a number of pillow options to choose from. The roof top pool is what makes the hotel. With brilliant views over the main beach in Patong, plenty of lounge chairs and a swim up pool bar, it was a great place to relax and enjoy a sunset. The breakfast was basic but plentiful. The egg station was a highlight. Overall, the hotel was a great, affordable option that's close proximity to shopping, food markets, the beach, and of course Bangla Rd. It was a fantastic place to stay as a solo traveller, with other like-minded people staying at the same time. The travel and tour desk was great and knowledgeable, and you couldn't fault the staff - they truly made the hotel a special place.

The room was spacious, there was a single and a queen size bed ( the big bed had a bit of a dip in it where most people would recline to watch tv (me too), so for sleeping I moved to the middle of the bed - that was my only quibble sitting the week I was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the woman who made up my room (even though I'm not a tipper I did this time). Charm Resort is a great location- over the road from the beach and a short walk to shops and eating places. If you need a bike (scooter) to get around the island on you could try MrJack who is such a nice bloke and his missus makes a great coffee contact them on +66890443035

Beautiful service and the staff go out of their way for you. Very friendly. The two story duplex apartments are very badly built! Water leakage inside bedroom. Noise from air conditioning and outside generators. If you book maybe seek other rooms. Too far from Bangalore road.

The staff at this hotel were all amazing, helpful, and kind. The location is right across from patong beach which was very convenient, as well as there were lots of taxis available just outside the hotel. The deluxe room with the separate bedroom was so great and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem with the room was that the AC in the bedroom was leaking quite a lot at some times, but the other AC in the kitchen worked fine. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the willingness to help from all the staff.

Junior suite was large although space could have been better utilised, bed has wooden base & is only centimetres from the wardrobe - kicked toes a definite. Light switches in main area in odd places, kitchen has a fridge, kettle, sink & bench nothing else - maybe cutlery & crockery. Rooftop pool has great views, swim up bar & food. Breakfast was good. Staff were fantastic. Bit of a walk into main part of town but tuk tuks & taxi at end of laneway a cheaper option than the hotel. Beach at end of lane, 1-2 min walk.

Okay - a bit higher priced than most in the area but doesn't offer a whole lot more. No towels in Gym and had to ask for water. Reception staff were super helpful. Location is good, near beach and away from the madness. The pool is lovely also.
