Upstairs, two generous bedrooms share a full bath/shower. The large bedroom is a favorite with kids, so roomy they'll claim it as their own headquarters and stay up talking all night.
With two living rooms, each with a fireplace, plus a fully finished basement perfect for kids and teens, there is always a quiet corner to read, a lively room to gather, and somewhere in between for everyone else. Five sleeping spots (four queen beds, a twin, and a sofa bed) mean the whole crew fits comfortably.
The fully equipped kitchen is designed for cooking together, whether that means grandma's Sunday sauce or a crowd-sized breakfast before a hike. The adjacent laundry room and mudroom connect to the north backyard, where the BBQ awaits. The fire pit on the front lawn is where the best conversations happen after dark.
Step off the front porch and watch the sun sink behind Stissing Mountain, the pond glowing in the last light. In summer, swim right from the property in the pond. In fall, the Hudson Valley Rolling Hills put on a show. Winter brings quiet white mornings and crackling fires. Spring reminds you why you came.
The Stissing fire tower, one of the best short hikes in the region is just a few minutes' drive away.
