Condo was modern and clean, staff were very helpful and ensured we had what we needed. Location is excellent for dining and walking to public beach. Disappointing was the lack of beach at the property, pictures showed a nice beach which no longer exists due to hurricane and rising water levels.

Everything was nice , the only complaint was the TV never worked and they never showed up to fix it. So we didn’t have tv use at all. I called At 9pm the first day of our stay and they said it was too late to send somebody up and they would do it the next day and they never did it. Otherwise it was a good value and the staff was very nice and the restaurant staff were exceptionally good! I would definitely recommend this hotel! Dan & Amy from MN - USA

Just spent the past week at this lovely property! We were surprised about how spacious the unit was-and exceptionally clean! Felt like it was brand new. The pools were lovely-too bad that much of the beach has been eroded away but still was a pleasure to stay here. Very convenient walking to Fifth Avenue and night life/restaurants. A big thank-you to all the awesome and friendly staff!

Decent room with washer,dryer and separate bedroom. Rear patio is over an alleyway for service vehicles and was noisy at times. Couch is cement with 5 inch cushion that totally collapsed when sitting, we used pillows for comfort. There is zero beach, photos on line are from many years ago. Very disappointing. We walked to main beach, about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Pool is small and only has 4 loungers, which were very dirty, there are over 40 condos. Staff was pleasant, we did have to ask several times for toilet paper, tea towels and other basics after cleanings. Which they promptly brought. Center walkway is very attractive. Noise can be loud from adjoining resorts late into the night

Loved our stay here, suite was exactly as described. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Free purified, cold water. In-unit washer. Friendly and helpful staff. 5 minute walk from beach and 2 minute walk away from 5th ave where you can find anything you need. Expect to walk up stairs If you have 2nd or 3rd floor suite. Only downside was our king size bed being super hard. The queen bed in the other room was much softer tho. I definitely would recommend staying here if you’re visiting PDC. Thank you El Taj staff!!

Oceanfront hotel - not beach front hotel

The hotel was very clean. The pools were clean and comfortable temperature. The staff was helpful. The room was very large. This hotel is not a beachfront hotel though. This hotel is very much an oceanfront hotel, not any real space for laying on the beach the way that someone normally would.

Very well taken care of property, wonderful staff. The beach in front was limited due to the natural movement of the ocean and our balcony view was private so missed seeing the ocean. Hence the 4 star. Our next stay here I will pick a different room, my fault not the facility. Located at the mid way point in relation to the pedestrian street but a few blocks toward the ocean so noise was not an issue. Easy walk to a variety of beaches or the local grocery store. . Thank you for a great week.

The place is horrible!!!!! doesn’t look like the pictures , very dirty very old , the room had many problems , mold smell and broken tv, water flood at the sink and from the rain in 2 rooms. Stuff at front desk was not nice at all !!! will never recommend this place to anyone !!! we suffered there and it completely ruind our vacation , especially for my 4 kids !!!

The place was amazing. Tropical surroundings, quiet secluded pool, restaurant is on the beach for breakfast, dinner or just to have a drink and watch the fishermen/scuba divers come and go. Property is located on a quiet street. Two blocks from all the restaurants and shops. We stayed a week and our condo was well stocked. The only negative think I have to say is that the bed was to firm for my back. I definitely will return next year with the rest of my family and tell my friends about this condo.
