We had a blast, even with the remodel going on. We stayed on the riviera platinum side and was well worth it, you are far enough from remodel it was quiet, and relaxing no noise heard at all. We are planning to go again when the remodel is over to see how they update this resort. Love coming here.

This should no longer qualify as 5 star. We have stayed here before and it is simply not the same. First of all, half the hotel is closed undergoing construction, they are using the common buffet areas as sit down reservation restaurants at night. The construction was not disclosed at booking time. Food quality is considerably down. Breakfast buffet is good. Lunch okay. Dinner is terrible. Extremely salty dishes, overcooked meats, undercooked rice, and the worse was burn oil taste on fried fish. Had to complain to the Cheff/Cook in charge and leave to find a place to eat. This should not happen when you're paying about $900 per night for five people. The people working there, make the difference and are very welcoming and accommodating.

Our stay at the Grand Riviera Princess was absolutely wonderful! The resort has so many beautiful pools—each with plenty of seating and space to relax. Whether at the pools or on the beach, we never had to worry about finding chairs or a comfortable spot to enjoy the day. The beach itself was clean and spacious, and the pools were well-maintained, offering a great variety for both kids and adults. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was very good and offered a wide variety of options, so there was always something new to try and enjoy. What made this resort even more special is that after checking out, we ended up coming back here again after a bad experience at another resort. Returning to Grand Riviera Princess felt like coming back home—we were so happy with our decision. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and stress-free vacation. We can’t wait to come back again!

This was my second time at one of the princess resorts, first was grand sunset. I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were very attentive to our needs. There wasn’t a second where they didn’t go above and beyond to make sure our needs were met.

I recently stayed at this resort and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations — largely due to issues that were not disclosed prior to booking. First and foremost, there was major construction going on during our stay, which was not advertised at all. This resulted in half the resort being closed off, including several key amenities we had looked forward to using. Of the nine restaurants listed on the website, only five were actually open. Another issue was the beach condition. There was a significant amount of seaweed along the shore, and the smell was very unpleasant. It didn’t seem like the hotel was making any consistent effort to clean it up, which really took away from the beach experience. The buffet food was mediocre at best — edible but nothing memorable. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

Good is not good at all! About the experience! I have bad experience. The receptionist doesn’t care and also the manager! Couldn’t solve problem! Expedia failed advertising and resort don’t bother to care either! They blame on each other leave customer is the middle. I left a review ans hotel sent someone to come talk to me but still couldn’t solve any problem. They told me it’s on Expedia. Even I showed all the proof. Well I won’t be returning!
