Everything was unbelievably fantastic. Facilities, people, entertainment, rooms, options, and easy access to everything. Other than the food and the stout morning drinks, everything was unbelievably fantastic. There are 6 legit restaurants that are included in the all inclusive, a buffet, Mediterranean, Asian, Caribbean Mexican and 2 Mexican options. All are not open at the same time and a lot of the food overlaps so I would say it's more like 4 options. All were good but our best food experience was off the resort

I absolutely loved my time at the Hyatt Vivid in Playa Del Carmen. The staff was amazing, food was great everywhere I ate at the resort and the hotel was in excellent condition with the most amazing access to the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff made this experience the best. Hands down, the service was impeccable. I understand that the Hyatt just recently took over the property, I think some updates can be made overall because even though the place was clean, you can tell its been worn out (like the carpets and couches, etc) but it was a great stay and I will come back. There was a raccoon walking around stealing food which I can't understand why it is not removed from the property, that would be my biggest grievance. I also dislike trying to be roped into a timeshare meeting even though it was not disguised as such, but it can be annoying to have to keep declining daily.

This hotel has a raccoon problem that they say they have no control over i have a video of me on the beach and being attacked by a raccoon because i had a cookie on the table in daylight. I hurt my leg and knee trying to get away..while hanging out at the beach several raccoons come out to go in the garbage and anywhere they smell food.This place is not safe for people..i was supposed to be relaxing clearing my mind but instead scared, thinking am i going to be attacked while walking to my room. I would suggest for people to not stay here if they are afraid of raccoon and having a face to face experience with them.

The only restaurant that is worth is ASIANA. Activities: Nothing to do at all. The hotel do shows from 7Pm to 10pm or 10:30pm and after that you are in your own with the only option of going to sleep because there’s nothing else to do which is bad because you trying to have a great time and create memories. Pool activities: Super boring, they have an entertainment team but trust me you better have fun in your own because that team is just a name. If your looking for a place to relax this is the right place but if your looking to have fun do activities, create some memories and see different shows at night and maybe a club in the resort where you can go have some fun and dance this is not the place for you, safe your money and go somewhere else. I truly feel the Resort has the potential to do better.

No vacation is perfect but this came pretty close! If you want to have a relaxing vacation I would recommend Hyatt Vivid Playa. Pros: Clean facilities, lots of daily activities and options for dining. - We had the chance to try all the restaurants (Pelicanos was our favourite). Met lots of kind and wonderful staff (Very thankful to Antonio from La Casona/Chefs plate, Maximillian from Pelicanos, Sergio from Dolma for their waiting service and for ensuring modifications for dietary allergies, thank you to Laura at concerige and Teresa at the spa as well). - The view was so lovely everyday, tons of space to walk around, looking at all the decor, plants, wildlife and along the beach. - Rooms were large, constantly restocked and cleaned - Very organized and detail information on their shuttle system prior to even arriving Cons: Approached by timeshare, slow room service for food, not enough hooks to hang clothes - on our first few days we were exploring the resort but were approached by timeshare listed as "guest services/info", we didn't realize until after the fact what it was and were not interested so we did not attend the presentation. It was a huge turn off as we were afraid we would have to be dealing with any harassment throughout the stay or if any other services we thought were going to be helpful were just going to be another timeshare attempt. - we ordered room service twice, the 1st time we had no issues but 2nd seemed it was forgotten until we called 2 hrs later

I love the property, the view was outstanding and staff were very cautious and professional. The entertainment was generally good. It was a very relaxing atmosphere with different amenities. But there were just too many Raccoons running around the property, scaring people, ravaging garbage cans-and even walking the hallways in daylight.
