What we loved: -the area around the resort, everything was within walking distance and so many shops and things to do - the aroma cafe, the coffee and staff were great and had great hours 6am-11pm -Mexican restaurant- we discovered it on our last few days but we loved the food and kept coming back What we hated: - The location of our room, it was too close to the main lobby where loud music and people being loud until late hours of the night when we are trying to sleep - the jacuzzi in our room was nasty, it was dirty and when we filled it up we saw dirt rise to the surface - the hotel kept calling our room which got annoying when we were trying to relax - the cleaning lady just walked in on us, i was practically naked. She knocked once and before we could answer the door flung open. Next day she came again before we were fully awake, we had to send her away and tell her to come back later

We had a very good time but won't be back. All inclusive is not all inclusive. Pool is surrounded by empty Cabanas that are $150-$200 per day. All the lounge chairs behind the Cabanas are taken by people putting towels down on them for the entire day...Classic low class move. Beach is tiny and you can't go in the water because of jagged rocks

The overall positives were that the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Adan! Resort and rooms were always clean. Overall service was great, the staff were always around, asking what you would like. Areas for improvement: The food was just OK, not horrible, but not great. The up charges to get a chair near the pool was a little ridiculous, especially since 90% of the pool-front real estate is taken up by these paid-for cabana and chairs. The spa venue was OK and the massages we had were very good. If they are going to up charge for services. It should be at the check-in center. Instead, they walk you into the massage room to have your relaxing massage only to be given a menu of upcharges which on items from oils to the intensity of massage. This took away from the relaxing feel. *Don’t upgrade to ocean view room - to see the ocean from our room you had to fully lean over the railing to see a sliver of the ocean *

Room was showing wear not a fresh smell broken outlets average food poor drinks. Staff up sells everything. They have enough pool loungers for max 40% of guest pool side filled up by cabanas that they charge $130 ft or the day.
