Resort is very clean and staff is very customer focused. We had a good time in here, weather at the beach was very windy but nothing to do with the resort itself. Food options could have been a little better for the price that this resort charges but that is expected for an all inclusive resort.

Riu it is our 2nd home! It is our paradise! Been there 10 times! We love it! When we say " All inclusive, it is All inclusive :) Great enterteiment, great food , great services everywhere, starting at the front desck and ended at the beautiful beach. At the buffet Gustavo was the best of the best! We love All Riu Team, and we will return soon ! Love you All :)

Awesome Hotel

Riu Palace is a most welcoming hotel. Although it is relatively large with many amenities, the atmosphere is warm & friendly. All staff are kind & accommodating. The food is fresh, abundant & delicious. The beach is expansive; the pools are sparkling. Staff work quietly & diligently to ensure a high level of cleanliness in rooms and over the whole site. Everyone who works at Riu Palace seem happy to be there, and this makes for a happy place to be. Highly recommend Riu Palace.

Riu palace exceeded my expectations in most areas. Loved the service. Landscape shows and food. What I did not like was the bathroom being exposed. If I got up earlier than my husband I had no choice but to disturb him when I used the faucet to wash up. The thermostat in room was broken room was always too cold. I paid for a room with ocean view it was obstructed. The Manager did offer to change my room the next day. Did not care for the buffet. Food could be improved. Sit down dinners were great. Desserts could be better. Lacked flavor and freshness. The staff were wonderful. Blanket in room needs to be upgraded. Very thin. Thank you to the team in Krystal’s restaurant who made me feel special on my birthday. Wonderful hardworking friendly staff! Otherwise, very enjoyable stay. Thank you

Pros - Beach 9/10, Food 8/10, staff 10/10, Cleanliness 10/10, Room 10/10. Beautiful resort in a safe neighborhood. Lots of spanish speaking visitors from Portugal, Argentina and Chile. Makes sense since its owned by a Spanish company. What I didn't like were the size of the pools. Much too small. Kids should be in a separate pool, Their kiddy pool is a joke. Too many kids was surprising to me. I wouldn't choose it again for that reason. Also they REALLY need to add door knobs/handles to those drawers. They’re very difficult to open especially if you have arthritic fingers. Had to call down a few times for toilet paper and bottled water. We tipped daily but didn't get our supplies replenished. Not an issue as they usually responded quickly with our requests. Overall a 8.5 vacation for us.

A beautiful place with great food! The location is perfect — peaceful and spacious, with a special energy to it. Everything felt well-balanced and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend!
