there was no hot water in the shower. The faucet in the bathroom had hot water but clearly there was something wrong with the shower valve. I called first thing in the morning. They said they were sending someone up 20 minutes later. Nobody showed up I went and worked out, went and had breakfast swimming. It would be fixed by then. No I was headed to the jungle for a weeklong retreat and wanted one last hot shower. And for $300 a night it was the least I could ask for The staff was not understanding nor did they want to do anything to fix the issue or offer any remedies or discounts For $300 a night I would expect things to be in working order I spoke to the manager of a female about this, and she did nothing to it I will wait to hear back from you before I go to a Google review

It was a nice small resort right downtown playa del Carmen which made it unique. Pros-nightlife and entertainment in playa del Carmen all walking distance. Pools were nice. Staff were very nice 👍 and friendly Food was pretty good but ran right through me lol Pool volleyball was a blast and water was somewhat warm Coffee shop was legit Cons: No good beach Rooms were older and outdated(at least the one we got) Entertainment at night wasn’t to exciting compared to other resorts but I don’t really stay up to late anyways. Overall it was small and unique resort with great staff. If you want to experience the playa del Carmen city this is a great resort to go to.

Overall, this was a good experience at a conveniently located property. We could easily walk to 5th Avenue, enjoy a beautiful small beach, and access everything on foot. What We Loved: The entertainment staff brought great energy and fun to our stay. Our room was impeccably clean, and we appreciated having three different dinner venue options each night. The cabana rentals were a nice touch, including either a bottle of tequila or upgraded meal options (lobster, filet, or tomahawk steak). The property photographer did an excellent job capturing our vacation moments. Areas for Improvement: Service at the pool was disappointingly slow—we waited two hours for tacos. More concerning was the lack of accessibility accommodations. The resort struggled to accommodate a guest with limited mobility, placing them in a room that was accessed by stairs and requiring a long walk despite their needs. The property simply isn’t well-equipped for guests with mobility challenges. Bottom Line: While this is a nice resort, as frequent visitors to Riviera Maya (2-3 times yearly), we believe there are better options available at this price point. The accessibility issues and inconsistent service prevent us from giving a higher recommendation.

This resort was always clean and spotless, food available 24/7, constant activities and engagement and the food was THE BEST I've ever had at a resort before. If you're looking for late night parties this wouldn't be the place for you. Every night there was a show around 8pm followed by ONE HOUR of a dj party... Usually in the lobby and occasionally outside by the pool. Typically the crowd was in their 30's - 50's I'd say. The nightlife was lively but short lived but the shows were fantastic. The lobby & resort was usually empty by midnight, but it makes sense since the younger crowd seemed to go party on 5th Street (the market around the corner with vendors, shopping, restaurants and clubs) and the older crowd was in bed by late night. Everyone advertised the beach as being very far, however, you just walk to the very left wing of the hotel and exit a door by the gazebo walk down to the beach. The beach was our favorite part, it was small but enough chairs, since most people tended to prefer the pool (much harder to get seats unless youre awake by 8/8:30am). Bring water shoes to experience the beach most comfortably, but there was a beautiful patch of sandy water that you could go to without water shoes.

Staff was phenomenal, they really went the extra mile to make our stay special. We loved the building, the rooms and even the gym was sick (and I’m a pretty big gym fanatic). The food was amazing and it’s right close to downtown playa which is amazing! Carlos and the entertainers by the pool were amazing and hilarious. I will definitely be going back. No question was this a great experience for my wife and I. Thanks for the great experience

We had an excellent stay at this all-inclusive Whyndham Playa Del Carmen and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The resort was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The food and beverage options were outstanding, with great variety and high quality at all restaurants and bars. Entertainment and activities were well organized and enjoyable, and there was always something for everyone to do. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and serviced impeccably. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. We felt well cared for from arrival to departure and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. We look forward to returning in the future.
