Unfortunately the sofa bed was not made up and we had to ask three times for it to be done. Our room was very noisy from the extract fan so we moved for the second night and asked for the sofa bed to be made up in the second room, this time we had to ask twice. They were very understaffed to accommodate an awards evening that had a knock on for others staying in the hotel

Breakfast was excellent and the view from the restaurant is lovely. Duvet was too hot and had them provide a sheet in addition. Housekeeping button on the phone was absent and trying to get them through the front desk was impossible. Called 5 times and could not get a reply. Safety holder in the shower was far to far from the showering area. I had to stretch to reach it.

Location, location, location.

Well located, comfortable hotel next to Plymouth Hoe. The room was large but the bathroom was a tad small, but very clean. Good view across the Barbican and I could see my car in the hotel car park. Nice lobby area where you can get a drink and a snack. The breakfast area is on the 11th floor with great views. The pool and sauna are a pleasant place to relax. My only criticism is that the air-conditioning was rather noisy.
