Whether you are arriving for a romantic escape or a quiet creative reset, the open-plan suite features a freestanding clawfoot bath positioned right at the foot of the king bed, perfectly angled to catch views of the Grampians ranges while you soak.



Inside, the light-filled layout combines sensory warmth with seamless single-level living and modern connectivity via high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. Original artworks adorn the walls, complementing a plush king bed dressed in quality linens looking out across the timber deck toward the mountains. Guest Access:

You will have complete, private access to your self-contained cabin, deck, and immediate surrounding grounds. Self check-in via a key box at the front door — the code and arrival instructions are sent prior to your stay so you can arrive and settle in at your own pace. Ample free off-street parking is located right alongside your cabin with a flat, step-free path to your door.



The Neighborhood:

Blaze Rock Retreat is situated in Pomonal, a peaceful rural hamlet nestled along the eastern slope of the Grampians (Gariwerd). You are just five minutes from local highlights like Iris at Pomonal Estate and the Black & Ginger Wine Shed. Eight minutes down the road, the vibrant town of Halls Gap serves as your launchpad to Grampians National Park—giving you immediate access to iconic walking trails and lookouts like The Pinnacle, Boroka Lookout, Mackenzie Falls, and Venus Baths, alongside local cafes, bakeries, and gelaterias.



Getting Around:

A private car is the best way to explore the region, giving you total freedom to visit national park trailheads, lookouts, and nearby cellar doors at your own pace. For regional travel without a car, V/Line train and coach services do connect Melbourne and Adelaide to Stawell and Halls Gap, though services are very limited — around one per day. Mobile coverage is patchy — Optus performs better than Telstra around Pomonal specifically.
