Welcome to Gulf Pelican Villa, Bolivar Peninsula’s newest oceanfront luxury villa. JUST STEPS TO THE BEACH this house is PET FRIENDLY, FULLY FENCED and SITS ON THE GULF OF AMERICA (not the bayside). Fully equipped with PUTT PUTT, billiards, fooseball, board games, BASKETBALL HOOP and so much more. Perfectly secluded with incredible unobstructed ocean views and less than a minute walk down the wildflower studded path for direct beach access, overlooking the Bolivar Flats bird sanctuary, right next to the fishing jetty and boat ramp. This property is also conveniently located less than a mile away from the free 15 minute ferry that runs 24/7 for those wanting to venture over to Galveston Island for the day!

Fully fenced in for your convenience and security, which is a major plus for those guests bringing pets or young children. Upstairs has a newly built in BBQ with bar and unique sliding barn door shutters for privacy, as well as all new outdoor dining furniture including sun loungers and captain chairs perfect for catching the sunrises and sunsets from the spacious wrap around porch. Downstairs has an extra large built in picnic table that’s seats up to 10 just waiting for your next family crab/crawfish boil! There is even an outdoor sink with attached cleaning table for preparing your catch of the day.

Dual hammocks line the under deck right next to the private screened in porch perfect for a morning yoga session or an afternoon work zoom meeting. It includes oceanfront views from every room, all new high quality furniture, fresh paint, intimate lighting and coastal modern finishes to make you truly feel as though you have been transported to an exclusive luxury getaway from the city!

We also have a full family set of bicycles for cruising over to the beach along with an assortment of books and board games for those rainy days. Literally no detail has gone unlooked and you are sure to enjoy your stay to the fullest at GPV!

Of course! Here’s a concise, polished review you can use: We had a great stay at the Gulf Pelican Villa. The views were beautiful, and being close to the ferry was very convenient. The property offered plenty of activities like basketball, putt-putt golf, darts, and kites, which made it fun for all ages. It felt private and peaceful without being out of the way. The space was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very relaxing and I felt right at home. There was way more space than we needed, We enjoyed the screened porch, although it had 2 spots that were torn, so a few mosquitoes wanted to come say hi. I would come stay again.

Such a wonderful property that made for a memorable stay! Would highly recommend this house and we plan to return. The location is perfect, very secluded, quiet neighborhood, and just the most gorgeous views we have experienced in all our time visiting the Peninsula. The upper deck overlooking the Gulf with beautiful sunrises was spectacular. The interior was in great shape, bright colors, nice finishes, thoughtful artwork, great tech/tv/wifi (love the Samsung products), comfortable furniture/bed, wonderful kitchen and accessories, and dimmable lighting YES! Best lighting we have experienced yet. The fenced in area was brilliant for our dogs. Great access to the Ferry as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay, it is obvious there is a lot of care put into the upkeep, so awesome!

Our family takes a trip a few times a year to the Peninsula, and this stay by far was our most relaxing stay! The house is in a nice location with beautiful views, the fishing jetty right next to it and a nice beach cove. The house provided many activities for my kids, the putt putt was a highlight of our trip, as well as the slip and slide. The owners were courteous, helpful and quick to respond with any little thing I needed. 10/10 recommend staying at this little oasis!

Spectacular view of the port and sanctuary

This was the perfect place for us to stay on the bolivar peninsula. Convenient to the ferry, short drive to stores, restaurants etc. Comfortable beds with lots of options for pillows. Beautiful accommodations with lots to do. Short walk or drive to beach areas and the jetty. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio before the sun came up in the morning and watching the cruise ships come in and then watching the sunrise. Spectacular! I could have spent all day right there.

Check in is simple. Even before that, as we drove up, we noticed the location and the residence. Beautiful place with easy access to the water. The jetty is a quick walk.This home is top notch. If it your launch pad for activities in the area or a place to have a great weekend away from home, it sets up perfectly. Coffee makers, grill, spectacular outdoor seating and so much more. We highly recommend and hope to come back soon.

Fabulous getaway to the coast

We made some wonderful memories and had a fabulous time at this exceptional beach house. The fenced in yard was perfect for the pups and the three bedrooms were perfect for the family. Mostly isolated from other homes the privacy was fantastic. Everything we needed was minutes away. We will be back!

One of a kind location - Birder's Paradise

We knew this location would be perfect for our birding adventure, and we're very happy to say your home was also absolutely lovely. The furnishings and decor went beautifully with the view. The original art, gorgeous kitchen, and upscale furnishings set your home apart. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to prepare a meal. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were exceptionally clean. The quiet neighborhood helped us truly relax and unwind.It was amazing to witness the ever changing array of birds. There were far too many species to list here, but our favorite find was on the first evening when we saw a Long-Billed Curlew.Each day we'd start out on the deck overlooking an amazing, one of a kind sanctuary. Next, we'd head out birding to High Island, Galveston, Sabine Pass or Anahuac. Finally, we'd come back, and go back out on the deck to put our tired feet up and bird some more. Absolute heaven!Thank you!

Absolutely perfect

This beautiful home is ensconced in birds of all kinds, engaging in bird ballet, located as it is on an estuary that provides such an amazing experience. The home itself is quite beautiful, comfortable and avails itself of extraordinary views of the estuary. As an added enhancement, communication with management could not have been more responsive and helpful. Couldn’t possibly recommend more highly for your utter enjoyment.

Amazing location / Extremely clean

What a beautiful place! Super clean and thoughtful layout/decor along with very accommodating hosts. We will definitely be back! The property looks over a bird sanctuary and there was endless opportunities to view many types of birds. Watching the ships come and go from the house was also a real treat. Walking distance to the jetty was perfect for sunset strolls and fishing. Definitely recommend!
