The beaches of Pianotta and Rossa are just a few meters away on foot, but there are many beaches that this stretch of coast offers, including Barbarossa (2 km), Reale (3 km) and Terra Nera (3.5 km). All places where time seems to have stopped, with a mineral seabed, fresh and clear water and sand mixed with pebbles that create a particular sparkle.

The name of the city, "Porto Azzurro" is a tribute to the beautiful blue waters that surround it. The port area is a focal point of the city, with colorful buildings and cafes that line the shore, offering picturesque views.
Porto Azzurro is also home to some interesting historical monuments, such as the Fortezza di San Giacomo, which once protected the area from pirates. Today, the fortress offers panoramic views of the city and the sea.
