We stayed at Bloom House for our first trip to Portugal. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located and had everything you need (kitchenette was well supplied). The hotel is close to the market, many terrific restaurants, cafés, shops, sites and public transport, all within walking distance. The people of Porto are wonderful and the staff at Bloom House are exceptional !!!!! Their suggestions for things to do, restaurants and port tasting (Churchill's a must) were outstanding. We would like to thank you for making our trip to Porto a great success. We are looking forward to returning to Porto in the near future and will be staying at Bloom House by Sweet Porto. We highly recommend staying here. In our opinion, you will not be disappointed. We have stayed many places in our travels and this hits the top of our list. With many thanks to a fantastic staff. 💕💕

The hotel was very clean, the staff were all amazing, friendly and very helpful. They were very responsive with questions. The rooms were spacious updated and clean. It was on a busy street, but was quiet inside. Just outside you had endless food options, things to do and very central. The shower was a bit aggressive but they helped fix it immediately. Very safe and secure as well.

Lack of hot water ..

Overall its a great location. Close to things however the hot water shower usually last less than 5 mins then it's cold water. I understand they want to preserve water .. but it makes for a very rush shower to race with the hot water meter.

Beautiful apartments! Excellent location. Walking distance to everything you need to see. Despite being on such a busy street the apartment was very quiet. I never heard a sound. Very cute and clean and also very spacious apartment. My only call out is with the shower set up. You have to be very careful when taking a shower because there is only one door. If you are not super careful, water will spill out everywhere and I mean everywhere. It is a very cool concept, however not a very practical one. Great place. Definitely recommend.

The male receptionist was trying too hard to make us book a Douro valley boat cruise, instead of helping us figure out how to take a train ride there, which we figured out on our own and enjoyed it. He was not helpful.

Amazing Stay!

Perfect location to stay in Porto. Within walking distance to attractions, restaurants, cafes, metro and grocery store. Staff were excellent at check in and check out. If you choose the apartment with no elevator, you walk up two flights of stairs-great for working on those glutes, not so great after walking the hills of Porto. Room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Bloom is amazing. Great location to walk to all the sites. Shopping mall with large grocery store 2 mins away. The staff are very sweet & knowledgeable. Would so recommend anyone to stay here!
