Two young women at front counter were exceptional with providing info, welcoming us , offering tarts and a complimentary taste of port . Our reservation said VIP so was to have a bottle of wine but we never received one despite asking . Lovely room - nice view - loved comfy bed and linens and the location was wonderful to restaurants , sights and wineries.

The best hotel I've stayed in during my time in Portugal. From the minute we entered the hotel to our last day, everything was terrific. The room is spotless, and the staff are so friendly. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of selections. The view from our balcony was magnificent. Perfect location. 10-15 minutes walk to the Rebiera.

This was a beautiful hotel with a kind and very attentive staff. Breakfast was superb and location was magical. And one day, after I had asked that the maid only do the bathroom (but she ended up doing the bed too as well as my clothes…which I didn’t want), the staff sent me a bottle of their amazing Port wine and delicious nata desserts as an apology. I loved this hotel!
