One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Europe. It had a local of local flavor in the rooms and hallways. It is a very central location. Everything was easy and smooth.

3 fire alarms in the middle of the night, manager on duty did not even bothered to call fire department to have the system check, we have to call by ourself and telling us that we have to use our cellphone because we can not use the hotel phone to call fire department, instead he kept on telling all the guest that it was a “FALSE ALARM” and their solution is to mute the alarm and turn off the system. Terrible experience, manager and staff not being helpfull amd rude. Nice location hotel but bad experience regarding safety, stay away from this hotel..

I had an absolutely amazing view of Porto from my room. I had to be careful with my hotel room door though. I am used to a hotel room door closing behind me but the door to my room would not close unless I pulled it all the way shut, which caught me by surprise a couple of times. The staff was very kind and professional. The hotel is centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast menu was outstanding! The room was clean The bartender was not friendly all 4 days we were there. The drinks were not good. The food for dinner in the restaurant was horrible. The beef was so tough and there were no steak knives. Cutting it with a butter knife was impossible. It ruined the signature sandwich Francesinha. The waiter did not handle it well only offering a small glass of Port. Daniela was very awesome with all our requests.
