Room was well lit considering the box with no windows, it never felt cramped or like I was in a cave. Would definitely stay again especially considering the price paid. The bar area was also really comfy with a good choice of cocktails

great location when you find it

Basic accommodations, 80€/night for 4 nights. Great location, though a little hard to find tucked in the corner. Cool design, good vibe, great staff. The box lodge can afford a higher standard ti the cleaning procedure, the money that was saved when avoiding costs in televisions and furniture. This will need to be addressed soon or the build up will require complete replacement of materials. The affordable wood will rot in the Porto humidity/

I wasn’t here for very long due to being in transit. But, i will DEFINITELY stay here when I come back to Porto for a longer stay! I had a wonderful warm welcome when checking in, which was followed up by supreme service from the team in the restaurant and bar. The food and drinks there are delicious. The room was comfortable and as advertised

A very unique hotel in the center of beautiful Porto. It's like staying in a comfortable sauna, with air conditioning. Wooden walls no window, but very unique. Also a very nice roof terrace with fountains and pools. Not sure I've ever seen a place like it.

We have stayed here previously and recommended to friends, it was comfortable, well priced for location and quirky. Still really like the concept and hotel however we were a little disappointed this time. The air conditioning wasn't working and we informed reception on arrival as it was 26.5 degrees in our box, the ceiling vent was also broken so no air at all in the box. V uncomfortable. Reception advised that air conditioning yarts working when temp hits 24 degrees? This wasn't the case and we felt fobbed off. Seemed to not understand what we meant by the vent, no attempt to repair or come and check it out, we were not offered alternative room. Said he would call company to repair and no further action. Reported again to reception following morning and again told that air con was broken across whole hotel, that they would report and then change our room, we went out for the day, when returning it was another receptionist who stated she hadn't been informed..we requested to move room and she assured us air con was working. It wasn't and another uncomfortable night sleep in a hot box however vent opened but then we awoke due to noisy customers. Following day still no sign of repair and another customer complained in the nighttime. Air con then came on at 11.30pm.on our final night, was set to 20 and didn't then turn off. Not sure what occured this time but it was uncomfortable and bad service. The hairdryer didn't work in room. Would return however they need to ensure listen

A very unique and funky property! The rooms are interesting, clean, and surprisingly spacious given their unique construction. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Location is convenient too, located centrally in Porto meaning everything, including the Ribiera, is walkable.

The staff were great and helpful,the breakfast and roof top area/staff were great.basically the facilities outside our room were smashing. Good spacious functioning shower room.WiFi good.hotel well located.lifts all in working order. negatives- the dusty air inside room,thin noise insulation between rooms/corridor.

The walls were very thin, could hear everything going on in the rooms around me. Missing basic amenities such as a glass or a towel bigger than a hand towel. Staff were friendly but the basics were missing in the room. The air con did not also work
