This is our third time coming in four years and will absolutely be our last. The service used to be wonderful and now it is gone. The front desk staff can’t be bothered, the bartenders and servers are barely social, the concierge does bare minimum. The food has become extremely repetitive and bland. And overall it was a very poor time compared to what it used to be.

This hotel is entirely set up for young children, under 10. The inside activities height restrictions keep any older children from being to participate. Also my room we booked stated 3 people but then at check in it is one king bed- not suitable when you have bigger older kids. The only bars that were open were the lobby bar and pool bar. However the pool bar wasn’t serving from swim up bar, so I my way to get a drink was Getting out of pool and a long “lunch line style” line was always formed. The drinks are also not made great. Everything we tried including fun kids drinks were terrible. Almost like they were watered down or way too much ice. The beach has a wall so you don’t get waves or fresh ocean water- water was dark brown. You can’t walk far along the beach. At dinner buffet there is no wait staff an no where to get drinks- again we had to walk out to lobby bar to order any drinks. We couldn’t even get water with our dinner. This resort is only set up for young children, no accommodations for adults or older children.

Our room was amazing and all the staff were very helpful. The water was dirty on the ocean the whole time we were there but that’s not something they can control. Buffet was great for breakfast but not as good for lunch and dinner but we loved the restaurants.

The resort didn't impress us. After a four-and-a-half-star hotel, I expected more. The buffet food lacked seasoning, making everything taste the same. The ocean water was very dirty, and the pools were already cold at this time of year. There was a very unpleasant odor in the kids' club. We made a reservation at the steakhouse a few days in advance for 11 people, but they tried to seat us separately, so we had to show them how to set up the tables so we could eat together. The rooms are nice and cleaned well every day. Overall, I'd give it three stars at most.

DO NOT STAY HERE, THIS WAS THE WORST RESORT EXPERIENCE AND I AM A SEASONED MEXICO TRAVELER. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, THE STAFF WERE AWFUL, NO HELP GETTING MY LUGGAGE TO MY ROOM. THE TV DID NOT WORK, THE TELEPHONE DID NOT WORK. I ACTUALLY GOT FOOD POISONING THE FIRST NIGHT AND HAD TO CHANGE HOTELS. DISGUSTING-SHOULD BE A ONE STAR HOTEL.

The pool was enjoyable. But the hot tub was never warmed up. We were there for 12 days and the hot tub was only hot maybe 2 days that we were there an no one wanted to fix it. It’s far away from everything, so you can’t really walk anywhere. They don’t do uber or anything like that to the hotel if you wanted to try something different without going out. We had a great time, other than that. It was relaxing and really nice for the price. The staff was really friendly. The dinners were good. The room service took a while and didn’t taste too good…. They also don’t bring drinks to your room which was kinda disappointing. Our room was cleaned daily. It’s almost an hour drive from Cancun, making it inconvenient to want to walk around or want to go try other restaurants, unless you wanna deal with the hour drive there and back. The road to the hotel is extremely bumpy and really needs to repaved. Our experience was good. These might all seem like negative things, but besides the fact, we had a wonderful time. We ate, sat by the pool, played card games, drank at the bar, did too many shots lol, even went to the club which was fun, and then passed out in our beautiful bedroom.

Pros: clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, good drink options, great pool and activity for kids Cons: location, expensive to get in and out of resort literally in the middle of nowhere, ran out of food at buffet and specialty dining restaurants, everything closes early and sometimes before posted closing time, no way to get food after 11 pm except room service where the charge was $10 USD each time. The beach was underwhelming but not the resorts fault. They tried to clean everyday. Overall not a bad experience but would not come again.
