+ Los cuartos son amplios y cómodos. + El hotel tiene muchas plantas y se ve lindo. + La alberca es grande y la temperatura es buena pero ponen música muy fuerte (puede que a otros si les guste eso) - En la página web hablan de los restaurantes que hay en el hotel donde puedes cenar, pero la verdad es que si no eres Premium puedes ir solo una cantidad de veces y esa cantidad depende de las noches que te quedes, y cuando no puedas ir al restaurante tienes que ir al buffet. -La comida en general no es muy buena, y no hay muchas opciones en el buffet de desayuno y comida, en el buffet de la noche le varian la temática pero tampoco es tan bueno. -La playa tiene muchas lanchas y donde está la arena no es amplio.

The food was bad and we got sick, my son only ate bread and rice and potatoes for the last 4 days of stay. the place they frying eggs or meat and chicken , were so dirty, the glass and plate were dirty . This hotel don’t have a private beach, all Mexican people came everyday and gathered at the same beach that supposed to only for guests. So never go back to this hotel again.

Beautiful place. We had fun staying at Barcelo. The staff and organizers helped us with excursions and tours and we are a big group of 31 people. They made sure are requests are taken care of. Big thanks to Angelina. Tip: If you plan to go to the beach in early morning, spray bug repellant as they have seasonal sand fleas.

Everything was good. It would be better if breakfast was changed up a bit. Housekeeper ng just has to make sure to sweep under beds and furniture and make sure they close the doors properly when they are done

We enjoyed our stay. The place is a bit rough around the edges; grout in the shower needed reapplying, light switches were a little bit dodgy. Just a general bit of updating is needed. The staff were fantastic, the food was of a good standard, we just wanted more Mexican food!! The beach was beautiful and the pool area was immaculate. We'd definitely come and stay again.

What an absolute gem! I stayed here with my two teenagers for 5 days, and with so much to do, we were not bored for even one second. Fantastic all-inclusive resort with beautiful facilities, an amazing balcony view, and a wonderful staff all around. I felt welcome and appreciated from the moment i arrived until the moment i left. Barcelo is the definition of Paradise!

Love the Resort, great location and beaches, excellent pools, staff/bartenders. My only complaint is there wasn’t any Mexican a la cartes, and not really authentic Mexican food at the buffet. When in Mexico I want Mexican food. The snack bar did however have a fantastic taco bar. Such a beautiful place, wifi worked great. Comfy beds, highly recommend!! Cheers

WORST RESORT WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN! 95% capacity of this resort are local Mexicans who rate this resort, maybe to them this is 4 stars, but to a tourist not from Mexico, this is definitely not a 4 star resort, more like 2 stars! We have been coming to Puerto Vallarta annually close to 20 years now and this is by far the worst experience we ever had! CONS -WHERE DO I BEGIN?!?! FOOD-Buffet options are the same every day, food is absolutely horrible. Never went to an all inclusive where we were all hungry!! specialty dining is just as bad. Food is REALLY BAD! ROOM SERVICE - LIMITED MENU, ALL COMES FROM SAME BUFFET AND WAIT TIME IS NEVER WHAT THEY ADVISE YOU, WAITED AN HOUR AN HALF FOR UNDERCOOKED FOOD. SERVICE - poor service, long wait times. Hard to find any water bottles anywhere in the resort so you can have it by the pool or beach . Besides the room, only other place is in premium lounge which is also a joke! We always stay at 4 or 5 star resorts and this by far is not a 4 star "upscale resort" as they have listed. No beach service, get your own drinks and the only bar is a nice long walk! Save your money and your sanity, stay somewhere else!
