The staff was amazing! Very friendly! Samuel a server at the buffet totally made our stay! Alfredo and Juan and the swim up bar very friendly, Victor and the other pool side entertainment staff were fantastic! Very entertaining, and great at getting people involved. I want to send a special thank you to Edmund, we encountered him in many places at the resort, his personality and happy energy was contagious. He always had a smile on his face, was very eager to have conversations and worked so very hard! All in all the resort was pleasant. The room was decent, had a few minor issues but absolutely nothing that all in all affected our experience and therefore not worth mentioning. We loved that the resort was on the smaller size, the food selections were still lovely and we didn't have to hike 10 miles from our room every day. The pools were perfect. Beach was nice. It was very nice to be able to leave the resort without having to get on a bus to do so. It was like stepping into another world, we found a nice restaurant up the hill in the town, had the best fajitas we have ever had! Found a lovely locally owned store for some souvenirs and everyone we encountered were very friendly. My honest to goodness only negative about the whole experience was the coffee, very very terrible. I would suggest bringing your own if possible.

We really enjoyed the hotel’s amenities (pools, beach access, activities) and the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The food was a bit underwhelming. We were hoping to enjoy more authentic Mexican food but the on-site food options seemed more catered to what travelers might naturally enjoy at home (ie, American food, Italian food, sushi, pizza and French fries).

Everything was excellent other than 3 out of the 4 of us were sick several times in the 10 days there. No doubt a food issue at resort as we never ate anywhere else and drank only bottled water.

The room size was fine. The property is older as in 1980’s older. Pool area is maintained. The property appears to be short staffed. This is listed as a luxury resort which is false. The food is literally the worst I have ever had in a resort. No flavor, cold, lots of goulash’s, food that tasted like it came out of a middle school cafeteria. Several taxi drivers laughed and said “, no no you don’t eat there”. The beach is extremely limited in size . Since there are many smaller boats in the bay, it’s not a place with a pretty beach. The one area that was populated was on an embankment so it was hard to sit in a lounge as it was pointed downward at an angle. Two of the most important features bombed at this resort which is quite a distance from anything. So walking is not a possibility. Please do no waste your hard earned money.

The room was fine, however the cleaners interrupted my sleep whenever they cleaned even with the busy signal. I was told that I would get a romantic dinner delivered, and it never came. I followed up and the individual i spoke to said I spoke to the wrong person. So either it was originally the right person, or the initial contact lied. Lastly, the food was subpar. Nothing is authentic, not worth the resort fees. They do not cater to solo travelers, if you want a peaceful experience try another resort. This is catered to families and older partiers.
