This is a hostel and not a regular hotel so amenities are limited. They only provide two towels, one regular and one small. They have shower gel and shampoo that is in a container attached to the wall. The air-conditioning works well. You have to inform the office to turn on the water if you want to take a shower. They have hot water in the shower. The bed is firm and they only provide two pillows that are thin. For a pillow person like me, it was not the best experience. They provide coffee in the room. They have a safe but the one in my room was not working. They also have tv in the room. However, the best thing with this hotel is its location. It's a walking distance to the beach. The closest one is the Novu beach. Also it is walking distance to many restaurants and a casino in the area. There's a live band at the next hotel which plays loud music until 11 pm. Breakfast is decent. Check in and out is a breeze. For a short stay in Punta Cana away from the commercial resorts, I recommend this place. I may stay here again in my next visit.

We had such a nice stay at the Honky Tonk! It’s a sweet little hotel at a super reasonable rate. It is located in a very convenient location- a block from public beach access and close to many excellent restaurants. The property is clean and well cared for. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. The staff is so friendly and the breakfast was lovely- far better than what you might get at many brand name hotels. We will stay here again and would happily recommend it to friends :) Thank you!

Arriving you have limited parking, but if you are not driving there is a lot of places to go not far from you, great restaurants and beaches in walking distance. The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly but if you do not speak Spanish it can be difficult so have words and sentences you need to ask prepared beforehand. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was smaller than anticipated but keep in mind the upkeep could use some work but I found the same issues at a 5 star hotel as well. All in all it was a nice stay.

The rooms are very small and dark. Breakfast took forever to serve and was just a puddle of oil with mashed up eggs in it. Bed not very comfortable. Room was clean and the location not bad

My room was extremely small with no tv. The shower didn't have a door to close or a curtain so the water went all over the floor. There were mosquitos buzzing in my ear while I was trying to sleep. The handle on our door broke and they never fixed it even though I was told a technician would come, so I did not feel safe. There were only sheets on the bed and no blanket. The breakfast was not good.

Great place to stay in Punta Cana. Rooms/building is nicely updated with modern touches. Breakfast is amazing with LOTS of food options, including fresh juice and coffee. Staff is helpful. Location is primo -- up the road from the beach and right next door to Riviera Vegan Restaurant. Convenience store with Agua, snacks, drinks next door. Would definitely stay again.

Hiotel is close to the beach and tourists area ! Hotel is well kept more like motel in size and set up !bed sleep well ! Room is small but manageable! Hotel is on a street that leads to the beach , souvenirs stores and restaurants! Weekends be busy with music , folks up and down the streets , but safe area ! Breakfast is good and helpful starts at 8am. Can’t beat price for the location ! Beach has lots of activities for family and music ! Water is clean and warm ! Love the sunset and sunrise ! Folks that live in the area is very friendly! Hotel staff very kind and did a great job assisting during my stay ! Will definitely be back ! Thanks for the hospitality!

We checked into Honky Tonk for one night before our All inclusive next door was ready. TO be honest, I would of rather stayed here all week. I wish i saved the money and did so. Would def go back to this hotel. Very friendly and clean.

I didn’t lome that the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet itself so you end up seating on at the end of the seat and the rest is the toilet in itself. I found it to be uncomfortable and unsanitary. The pillows were old, you could feel the inside of the pillow separating and not able to provide any support. Ot was a bit disappointing.

The property is very nice, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is simple but very delicious, it is 2 minutes from the beach, i did have to ask the maids for fresh towels several times but they either didnt understand or kept forgetting, however the lovely lady at reception solved it instantly
