Thoroughly enjoyed the beach and food choices, but entertainment should be better. Also, no regular dancing before 11 pm, only available music was Latin to which a lot of people do not really know how to dance to. Disco should be open earlier to accommodate non Latin dancers.

The resort was awesome! Loved the lush plants and grounds. Our first couple days were great and we enjoyed the night life after dinner. Two days into our stay (we went the last week in February and first week in March) and received news that 200 spring breakers from Boston were coming in that night. I really didn't know what to expect but I am the type of person to not worry about something that hasn't happened yet but nothing prepared me for the disrespect some of these college students had for the property and for the other vacationers trying to enjoy a good nights rest. We had kids pounding on doors and running away all through the night (and I'm talking 4am!) We felt sorry for the grounds workers who had to pick up the walkway light fixtures thrown into the lawn (most of them cracked & broken) I stood a few of them up myself after seeing them kicked over. French fries & containers trailing through the hallways.etc.. We stopped going to the common grounds at night (where they had entertainment every evening) as it was like being at a high school dance. We are in our 40's - so its not like we don't know how to have a good time. We didn't go to the disco club because we knew what that was going to be like. So now we are trying to figure out where to go next time - we are not going through that again. Other guests that we met said that they might return again but come earlier in the year (late January/early February) but why should I change my ideal vacation time :/

Had a great stay, this resort met all of our expectations. Food was great, beach on property and enormous pool. Also, bartenders don't believe in weak drinks. I'd recommend!

I would definitely recommend and come back to this resort! People were so helpful and friendly! The Splash Kids Club was an amazing experience for my daughter! The girls taking care of my daughter were awesome!!!

Majestic colonial is one of the best resorts I’ve been too. The staff is incredible. My butler Sam was phenomenal. He made our experience much better. All of the staff is very nice and goes above and beyond.

Beach was fantastic. Plenty of shade available after 1 pm. Food was outstanding. Pool design was best I’ve ever seen.
