Just returned from a dream vacation at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana! We loved the resort, everything from the room, food, and staff were all amazing! The staff was always very accommodating ensuring all our needs were met and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a good time. The staff was very personable, going out of their way to get to know us and make us feel welcome. One staff member we grew fond of was Animation Panda who I would give a 10/10 recommendation for! He made sure we were having a good time, always inviting us to join on the activities and making sure we were aware of the events happening around the resort. We would not have had the beautiful experience we had without him!

This was our 4th stay at an all-inclusive resort, and Majestic Colonial is by far the worst of our trips. Rooms - 1/5. Old, dingy. Our first room had a massive water leak thru ceiling lights and walls. Had to argue with front desk just to get a new room. Food - 1/5. Lots of choices, but most of it no good. Only choices at breakfast and lunch are buffets with poor quality food. Mexican, Seafood, steakhouse were all poor. Hibachi and French restraurant were very good. Entertainment - 1/5. Circus show was great. The other bands and shows were very poor. Bad sound, amatuerish performances. Staff/Service - 2/5. Some workers were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Others seemed very disengaged, cold, and unwelcoming. I recommend going elsewhere. This place needs a complete renovation, better staff, and better food & entertainment.

The room was beautiful. The staff made extra efforts to decorate the room and make returning to the room special every time. The staff was amazing. Panda and Franklin really went out of their way to make our time the most fun. They are sweet and caring and always made sure we were happy. We also had Enrique as our butler and he as well made sure everything we needed was done.

Room had multiple indications of black mold. Dehumidifier didn't have any instructions, and staff couldn't speak English. Food was consistently cold except ice cream, which had melted. Had a strong feeling that staff was negatively disposed towards Americans, although we declined any discussions about politics. Have stayed in much nicer resort complexes.

We enjoyed the pool and beach seating options, and the staff were all so kind! The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing and all the restaurants are delicious! We stayed in the club section and our butler was super helpful in making reservations, planning excursions, and making our stay special! We will be coming back to Majestic for sure!!
