Food was awful. The phone in my room did not work. The beds were really hard. I got sick with a stomach bug because of the food. Staff was slightly rude my room was never cleaned and the mini bar Was empty i will never go back to this hotel again! And i used to go constantly a few years ago, very disappointing!

Was not aware we needed to attend a sales pitch for a Melia membership. This was done against our will. We paid for a 7 day vacation and did not go there thinking we were going to get anything free for attending a presentation. The staff - food, bar & service - were wonderful and made our stay a pleasurable experience. This resort is more for couples than for families. Main pool needs restoration asap.

The property is great. However in my opinion it can be better. This property is not smoke free, and they allow pets, in my opinion animals can’t be in the same place with humans, specially in vacations places, it becomes disgusting seeing dog hair in the beds and in the pools. For this reason I wouldn’t come back to this resort. The people work hard to give the best service, the butler was great (Gustavo) and also in the buffet (Roxana) their attention was great, thank you. The Beach was dirty but is something they can’t control, everything else was great.

The property is amazing and even the staff is as well very helpful. In the beginning of our check in we got assigned a concierge she was supposed to help us with whatever we needed within the hotel… but unfortunately she wasn’t to helpful then I got Leandro from guest services and he was the best very helpful and got back to me with any questions I had. Also helped me make reservations for the restaurant. Juan Gomez as well was very tentative. The rooms were clean daily so it was nice to have that every time we came back from the pool. The only thing that can get better is the buffet option for dinner I feel like the options available didn’t go well together.

Our stay at Paradisus Palma Real was extremely disappointing and far below expectations for a family resort of this category. We had booked a full week but left after only three days due to a series of unacceptable situations. From the start, there was no staff available to help with our luggage. A large group had arrived before us, and we were left to carry our own bags despite traveling with two small children (ages 2 and 5). Housekeeping was another serious problem. We checked in on Friday, and by Saturday at 3:30 p.m. our room still had not been cleaned. I requested service since my 2-year-old uses diapers and the trash already had a strong odor. No one came until 10:00 p.m., after I had to take the trash outside myself and complain in the lobby. This neglect is unacceptable. On Saturday morning, while having breakfast, we were horrified to find a cockroach walking on our table. This was unsanitary and unacceptable in any resort, especially one claiming to be luxury. The most upsetting incident occurred Sunday night. While quietly watching TV with my children, security knocked on our door to complain that our baby had been crying and that we were being noisy. I was shocked and outraged. At a family resort, it is natural for a 2-year-old to cry. For security to treat us this way was humiliating. What was meant to be a relaxing family vacation turned into stress and frustration. I had no choice but to request a refund and urge management to address these failures.

If i could give this property 100 stars i would. The food was great, staff wonderful. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The pools were huge with no need to set our alarm to try to get lounge chairs begore they were all taken. Same was for the beach area. They did have seaweed as most resorts do now, but they were out every morning raking it up. We swam in the ocean and there were just small clumps..nothing crazy. If you are looking for a beautiful resort at an affordable price, this is it! This is our second time staying at a Paradisus (we stayed at one in Mexico in March and loved that as well..it is definitely our favorite resort brand)

We recently stayed at your property and unfortunately, our overall experience did not meet our expectations. The main reason we chose the hotel was because of the photos and descriptions online, which made it appear as a high-quality destination. However, the real experience was far from what was advertised. Room & Service The room itself and basic amenities were average, but the service was inconsistent and unprofessional. Room service was not attentive and came across as too casual. Additionally, the language barrier created repeated communication problems, making even simple requests unnecessarily difficult. Food & Dining One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the food. Although the property promotes multiple dining options and cuisines, the quality was very underwhelming. Aside from breakfast, the meals did not feel fresh—many items seemed reheated or prepared long in advance, with desserts especially tasting like they were several days old. The "all inclusive" concept also felt misleading, as there seemed to be conditions or limitations attached to a number of items and services. Overall, dining here did not match the promise or expectations of a quality resort experience. Front Desk & Management Our biggest dissatisfaction was with the front desk and supervisory staff. Service at the front desk was slow, disorganized, and at times dismissive. The impression we got was that having a “manager” or “supervisor” was more for show.

Spent a week at The Paradisus & we were not disappointed. Other than a few minor issue with the room upon check-in, everything else was more than enough to make up for it. We stayed on the adults only side,which is a different set up than the family side. We were not part of The Reserve however. The room was spacious & had an updated feel.The mini fridge was well stocked & all included.Snacks were also all included.The king bed was firm & comfortable. The AC kept it cool.It seems to tied to the motion sensor but not exclusively. We did adjust the temperature on the t'stat. The grounds are well maintained by the grounds staff & are always on duty pruning palms,trimming shrubs or cleaning the walks,etc. The "adult pool" is a nice size & there were always chairs under umbrellas available,& towels. We never had to play the towel game thankfully. That is a big plus to not have to deal with the save your spot at 6am.One issue.The pool floor is losing tiles in one area & that should be addressed. It's spells lack of maintenance which is really not evident anywhere else on the property, besides potentially hurting the bare feet. The buffets were well stock with plenty of options to please just about anyone. Everything was well prepared & for the most part what needed to be kept warm was.What needed to be cool was also. The specialty restaurants we dined at were very good.The Dominican restaurant was treat to the local food. The staff was excellent! Junior at the buffet was a standout
