You need to bring every mosquito repellant going!

My room was changed 3 times. The 1st one was covered in insects! ants and mosquitoes. The 2nd room was cleaner, or so I thought! I had already spend 10 nights in DR but that night I got 12 mosquito bites all over my body! It was awful. Never once got bitten in the other hotels I had stayed at previously. The staff were empathetic and ugraded me to the beach view room - it was 'better' (not to be ungrateful but I was in pain and itchy as hell) the food was okay I guess. Standard salt and pepper dishes with tabasco or siracha for flavour. Although Meat and fruit and vegetables were fresh. You wont go hungry but, I couldn't wait to get home and cook myself. Dirty pool. DR Staff were nice 👍

Pools and bars were enjoyable, staff was friendly all-around. Biggest complaint was the AC in the rooms. It was so humid and damp in the rooms that the sheets, clothes, and virtually everything was moist. This was so uncomfortable. The quality of food was dissapointing from the buffet to dinners. Chinese dinner was the best followed by japanese. Majority of buffet food was not enjoyable and dissapointing... overcooked, cold, unseasoned, etc..

We had a great experience! The staff was amazing and always so pleasant and helpful during our stay. We added a ro uograde upon arrival with an ocean view. The room was roomy with no issues. The good options were good. We will be back!

Hotel was pretty nice, staff it’s the best, the only a think needs improvement are the restaurants, the buffet on my first day was not good organized the food on the containers was not what the signs were showing and the same food repeated on different places around the buffet. There was not enough glasses so it takes me a while to get my drink.

The resort is beautiful just like its name “Tropical deluxe” but the food quality has to be improved. Comparing to other resorts I had been stayed in Punta Cana, the food here is the worst. Other than that, my overall experience in this resort was great. And the best part was there is no upselling, or pressuring us to go for time sharing.

It was ok didn't really enjoy the beach because of all the seaweed .. when I'm on vacation I don't wanna be bother our first day until we left there was calling our phones early in the morning trying to sale & sign up for seminars that was very annoying .. food ok I guess if you don't eat pork good luck I think I lost 2lbs & if you can eat the food it's small portions .. then after 10 it's nothing for you to do , it was ok but I wouldn't return

The air conditioning in the room was extremely loud and was deafening. Hotel staff who clean the room had to know how loud. I stayed at this resort about 10 times in the last 4 years. Front desk dismissed my concern. Other issue resort does not allow my uber to pick me up at the entrance door. I must walk to the end of resort to get my uber. When brought up to front desk was told policy. But my uber was able to drop me at the front when I arrived. Why inconvenience your guest to walk to front on the heat with luggage when leaving?

The property was nice, it does need some fixing around the pathway walk to the buildings, also the pool needs to be resurfaced many cracks inside the pool. Our first room was nice until we heard a loud cracking noise and it was a fused which left half of the room with no lights. They came to fixed it within 20 min. The cleaness of the room was good except for limited towels and ripped, no extra toilet paper either. I am sorry to say but half of the staff looked miserable at their job, some of them were not approachable. One of the pool guys very nice and attentive. The entertainment crew were awesome! The guys are the bar not very friendly or smiling. Second time coming to this resort within 6 years and I would definitely look at other resorts for different experience.

I loved that this resort was very family-friendly. It had a small water park for kids and a kids’ club, which my family really enjoyed. I also appreciated the nighttime entertainment—it was fun and lively. However, the food was not great, and the service definitely needs improvement. I often had to ask multiple times just to get water or coffee at breakfast before being attended to. Overall, the family activities were the highlight, but the resort needs to work on providing better service and being more welcoming to guests.
