Location was absolutely wonderful. Building from the outside is quaint and on a quiet side street in old Quebec City. Room was incredibly small but that is expected. The common areas and hallways are in desperate need of new carpeting.

We wear in the basement and could hear every step above us and next door. The hotel is great and the room was nice but hard to sleep with all the noise. Also the shower is right next to the bed without a frosted window do be prepared to watch someone shower.

Location is excellent, the roads around the hotel were closed so it was very quiet. There is no parking available close to the hotel so checking in can be difficult. The room was nice but the bathroom was ridiculously small and very uncomfortable. Service/reception was outstanding.

Excellent location in Old Quebec. The staff communication was top notch for being virtual and the bed was very comfortable. Parking however was impossible and I ended up with a ticket as I gave up looking for a space. The bathroom and carpet could use an update.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. First, we had to wait an extra hour past the scheduled check-in time. The building itself felt quite creepy upon arrival, and there is no elevator. The room looked nothing like the photos online. It was supposed to include a fridge, but there wasn't one. Instead, we were told to use the kitchen fridge, which was located in a renovation zone cluttered with tools and wood—completely inappropriate and unsafe. The balcony was meant to have a table, but it was missing as well. The bathroom was so cramped that opening the shower door was a struggle, and the sink being located outside the bathroom was both awkward and impractical. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no milk provided. Overall, this stay was absolutely not worth the price. The photos are misleading and paint a much better picture than reality. The only redeeming factor was the hotel's central location. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the many shortcomings. I would rate it 1 star.

Our booking was for Superior King with Terrace in August 2025. The reason we booked this room was to enjoy the use of a terrace as per website. Very disappointed in the terrace area; does not look at all like the pictures. Take note! The terrace needs cleaning, painting, scrubbing to remove dirt and address very unkempt shrubs. We did not use it. The room on the main floor appears to have been very recently renovated into a modern style with new flooring and painted walls in the bed area; very fresh and new appearance which we appreciated. Does not look at all like the pics on the website. The bed was comfortable and clean. Wall decor nonexistent. The restroom tiny and original decor with floor and wall tiles, containing only sink and toilet, but functional considering the property age. The shower is new and modern, located right in the room in a glass enclosure (different!) It is confusing to note that no one was available on arrival at the property for greeting and to establish personal contact. We were never in contact with anyone during our stay, (We used our own phone to contact the invisible staff and found that it took several tries to get through to make only one single request which the room attendant provided hours later). The concept is for code and key entry only to the building and to the room, and for concerns, there is only a phone at the front door of the foyer for one to contact someone for service. no proactive guest contact - max '4' rating

The AC is on and off and the fridge is also on and off. The carpet outside is older so there are stains and is a little bit dirty. The kitchen is also under renovation so we werent able to use that. The hotel seems creepy for some reason, we hear random noises that our other friends dont hear.

Location is the highlight of the property, close to everything. However, in addition to difficulty in finding parking, check-in process is not smooth considering I have stayed at a lot of properties without front desk all over the world. There is water leakage on the floor.

We have mixed feelings about this one. On the plus side, our room was clean and we had a little balcony that overlooked the street and you could see the St. Lawrence and the Chateau. Our room was updated. Walking distance to everything including lots of restaurants and stores. The river is also right there. Bed was comfortable and great pillows. On the downside. The kitchen area that had a fridge is a mess. Looks like half is being used as a workshop with tools and rags. Everything was coated in dust. The fridge works and we used it for food. The toilet and shower area are very tiny. The shower door could not open all the way as the toilet was right there. You had to squeeze into the shower which was actually lovely and new. The building is old and does need some work. Carpets are old and stained. The staff are excellent and responsive to anything you need. It is not great if you have a car. You have to park away from building. We paid $160 for three nights. We would stay again but without a car and less baggage as we were in a one month road trip.
