Convenient and spacious

Front desk staff okay, but not pleasant. Room is large and comfortable. Only thing was disturbing was how dusty the lobby bench was. One side not (where someone had sat) and the other side very plainly noticeable. During our three night stay no one cleaned the surface. Still a go to spot when in Durham.

We chose this location soley because of the Pelotons offered in the fitness center. Unfortunately, all were out of service during our stay. Also, our curtains in our room were not hanging properly when we arrived. I notified the front desk on Sunday, left my phone number, and was told a manager would contact me. We checked out this morning and I have yet to hear from anyone. This was our worst Mariott Bonvoy experience to date. As of this review, on February 12 at 6 pm EST, I still have not heard from anyone from the hotel.

Clean, modern, really nice rooms and bathrooms. Love the staff. And the bar is great - their G&T is fabulous. Super convenient to Duke and the hospital. Lots of quick eating nearby. Parking is a little tight otherwise is a total home run to stay here.
