A very spacious and well equipped home not far from Duke and downtown Durham. We loved the back screened-in porch especially. Kitchen has everything you need to cook-in. Owner was exceptional in responding to our questions. Recommended highly.

Beautiful home in Durham

We had a great stay at Liz’s house. It exceeded our expectations. It’s very clean, updated and well appointed. We are a family of 7 with 2 dogs who were in town for a Duke basketball camp. The house has everything you can ask for, and our favorite part was the large screened in porch that we enjoyed both morning and night. The fenced in yard is also a bonus with an amazing fire pit area with fairy lights that was a pleasure to sit around. The location is amazing - 5 minutes to Duke, 7-8 to downtown with great restaurants, 5 minutes to Whole Foods and a great bagel/ coffee place within walking distance. Liz was also very responsive with any questions we had . We look forward to booking her property again.

Great spot for Reunion Weekend!

This home was a fantastic base for our Fuqua Reunion this Spring! The kitchen was well-appointed, organized, and comprehensively labeled to indicate where everything was.Comfortable beds. Great living space for downtime between events. Close to campus, grocery shopping, AND downtown.We will rent again in 5 years if available!

Very Comfortable Stay

This was a very comfortable place for my family of four. Very thoughtfully furnished in a way that seemed simple but had everything we really wanted and more, and they've clearly put in a lot of thought to the indoor aesthetics. Liz was super communicative and helpful. As someone who likes to take morning walks, I loved that you could walk into downtown and Duke from this location. We would definitely stay here again and feel lucky we found such a nice place!

We had a great time bringing our kids back to our old stomping grounds. House was wonderful and owner has done a great job anticipating needs. Also went out of their way to help accommodate a few requests (air mattress for our youngest & games to help keep kids entertained after our youngest was asleep).

Perfect location and newly renovated, immaculate house

My husband, myself and our 3 adult daughters gathered in Durham for 4 days for a big birthday with 4 of us being Duke alums. The house provided the perfect location - 5 minutes from Duke campus, 5 minutes from downtown tobacco district's restaurants and 20 minutes from airport. The house appeared to be completely renovated inside with everything looking brand new. Immaculately clean with every amenity. Liz was extremely responsive throughout the booking process and our stay, responding to emails usually within 5 minutes, sometimes even quicker. It was a really lovely place to be able to relax in with our kids. I would absolutely rent it again when we are back in town.

Charming, comfortable, convenient to Duke

This is a charming property. It seems brand new and very well thought out. There is plenty of parking; the bedrooms are generous in size; the kitchen is equipped for coffee and plenty of ice; and there is a huge, lovely, screened back porch. There is plenty of room for families to gather. The owner was easy to reach, immediately responsive and had included extra items to welcome us. We walked back and forth to restaurants, the Duke shuttle bus (Swift Ave.) and stores (Durham Co-op). We hope to return to this property again and again!

Don’t pass on this house!

We took a chance on this house for my son’s graduation weekend at Duke University. It was a new listing and didn’t have any reviews. We arrived and were blown away with the condition of this property. It has been renovated and appeared in like new condition. The house was spotless. The bedrooms were good size with very comfortable beds. The a/c unit worked nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and had the cutest coffee bar. The screened in deck was large with very comfortable furniture. My favorite spot for morning coffee listening the birds and cocktails in the evening. The owner thought of every detail down to a handwritten welcome note and a basket of snacks. Check in/out info clearly written and easy to follow. WiFi connection strong. The house is roomy and is beautifully decorated. Great spot to relax after a busy day. Walking distance to Grub, a great spot for breakfast. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Book it now, you won’t be disappointed!!

Brilliant place!!

This property is a gem...newly renovated, tastefully decorated, centrally located, impeccably clean, perfectly appointed, comfortable, with a lovely porch. Every detail is taken care of to a high standard, from mosquito nets on all the windows, to plush bath mats, comfortable beds and pillows, well appointed kitchen, helpful and responsive host etc. I will return every time I am in Durham. Thank you for making the place to special and for being such a wonderful host!
