Stunning 4 Season Family Friendly Lake House with Hot Tub

This fully licensed, stunning four season waterfront Lake House on Lake St. John provides space and comfort for the entire family both inside and out. Inside you’ll find a very comfortable and spacious layout, on the main floor you’ll find a large open kitchen, large dining table, wood stove, a heated Muskoka room with a hot tub and seating area, living room with propane fireplace and a view of the lake, complete with an upright piano. The kitchen Is fully stocked with spices, tinfoil, utensils, coffee, and dishwasher pods for the dishwasher. Also on the main floor is 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds,  and one with a double. One with queen bedroom has an ensuite with walk-in shower.

Upstairs you’ll find 2 large bedrooms both with king beds, one with an ensuite, propane fireplace, and balcony. On the same floor, you’ll also find a peloton bike, tv area, and a games room with a dart board, air hockey table and a stand up arcade game. For easy morning routines there are 2 full bathrooms on the main floor, one full bathroom upstairs featuring a walk-in shower and a clawfoot bathtub, and a powder room. 

We provide all linens, towels, and beach towels and some firewood. 

Outside we have a large dock where you can watch the wildlife and seaplanes land, fire pit with Muskoka chairs, 2 kayaks, canoes, life jackets, & paddles.  

Other things to note: 

There is a small regional airport across the street where small Cessnas and seaplanes occasionally land. At the airport there is a fabulous restaurant should you not feel like cooking a meal or two, they have a patio on the water. You may occasionally hear the airplanes, that only serve to offer a pleasant ambient sound. If you’re lucky, you may see one land on the water!

Ramara has a zero policy for fireworks which will result in a $5,000 fine.

Perfect Weekend Getaway at the Lake House

Our weekend stay at this stunning family-friendly lake house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the lake—this place truly offers the best of nature. The house itself is beautifully designed with spacious rooms, cozy furniture, and tons of windows that let in the perfect amount of natural light. It feels like a home away from home.The highlight for us was the private hot tub overlooking the lake. After a day of exploring, it was amazing to soak in the warm water while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was so relaxing!The house is so well-equipped for families. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there was plenty of space for everyone to gather around the dining table. Our friends had an absolute blast with all the games, and we loved how safe and comfortable the house was for them. The backyard and dock were perfect for fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing by the water.What really set this property apart, though, was the attention to detail. The hosts had thought of everything—extra towels, board games, and even a firepit for roasting marshmallows in the evening . It was clear that they truly care about making their guests feel at home and ensuring a memorable stay.We couldn't have asked for a better weekend escape. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or just spend time together as a group, this lake house has it all. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Working Visit

What a beautiful property. 6 of us worked during the days and came back to the property for our evenings. We had great facilities to cook, clean our equipment and do laundry. Let’s not forget the fishing (not catching). We loved the place and hope the hosts have no issues having us back. Highly recommended.
