Behind each of the ship's wheeled doors, details evoke Captain Nemo's legendary submarine, inviting guests of all ages to experience a true adventure during their stay.

The Nautilus is also a one-of-a-kind creation. It was born from the recycling of 28 meters of industrial cylinders, each 2 meters in diameter, salvaged from old autoclaves, combined with a former railway tank 2.60 meters in diameter. After more than thirty years of disuse, these structures have been transformed into comfortable and bright accommodation. Divided into different modules, equipped with numerous skylights, insulated externally, and then covered with earth, they now offer a unique living space where sustainable architecture, creativity, and comfort converge.

The interior surprises with its spaciousness, natural light, and warm atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen features a BOB dishwasher, which is particularly water-efficient. Outside, a private barrel sauna perfectly complements this relaxing retreat, in harmony with the spirit of the place. Here, every choice has been made with comfort, simplicity, and integration into the project in mind, right down to the appliances.

Thanks to its semi-underground design, external insulation, and dual-flow mechanical ventilation system coupled with a ground-source heat exchanger, Le Nautilus naturally maintains a pleasant temperature year-round, without air conditioning. Even during periods of intense heat, the bedrooms remain remarkably cool, while the living areas maintain excellent thermal comfort. During the June 2026 heatwave, the rooms remained around 22°C, and even the sunniest rooms didn't exceed 26°C, offering remarkable comfort in the middle of summer.

Whether you're passionate about unusual architecture, a fan of Jules Verne's world, or simply looking for a unique stay in the Vosges Mountains, Le Nautilus promises an immersive experience you'll remember for a long time. This accommodation is ideal for two people. It has a surface area of 45 m² and comprises a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and two bedrooms. A sauna is also accessible from inside the accommodation. Finally, its numerous skylights make it bright and airy.
